I’ll say my biggest gripe is I’d much prefer extruded bars, much like they’ve done on their “Beast” they just announced. They said those bars aren’t compatible with the original cap. However I’d like to think they’ll release some eventually.

So far I’ve been having to make my own brackets to avoid from drilling the bars.

I missed the July 4th deal from Sparks and ended up ordering them from https://hidkitpros.com/shop/2007-2018-toyota-tundra-oem-led-headlight-upgrade-kit/ for the price currently listed.

I used the @iHacker harness with no auto dim DRL. OEM-like harness. He was super easy to deal with and has great instructions on his main forum post for the harness.

Easy install for somebody relatively unfamiliar with turning a wrench. I highly recommend both the harness and the upgrade. The new lights are transformational. The stock halogen lights are a joke compared to the LEDs.

For when it comes time to adjust them. Do not use a Phillips screwdriver. Get an 8mm wrench for adjusting and take out your washer fluid resivour to make room to get your hand in there for the passenger side. Makes it a 100x faster and less frustrating.

Just ordered 2 Nilight 41 LED bars, 1 for the hood bulge and 1 for somewhere in the grill/bumper. Anyone have a good mount setup for somewhere in there?

If you haven't read the stock engine mounts can't be used with the solid trans mount. The solid engine mounts need to be installed with the trans mount. Good luck with the mods!

Im happy with mine, I went medium spicy. Worth it in my opinion driving wise. Haven't checked fuel mileage yet but drives smoother in my opinion

Truck sat in the carport for three weeks while I used the work van. Went to drive it and got hit in the face with mouse piss smell in the cab that would gag a maggot. Finally did the rodent screen bs I had been procrastinating for five years. Air filter was being used as their restroom and vacuumed about a quart of acorns out of the blower and dash. Ran the inspection camera everywhere I could and didnt see any further-in condos. Little destructive bastards.

It's a pain. Did you remove the wiper assembly? On the 2nd Gen there are 2 ports behind them. Not sure if on 2.5 gen?? I chased a chipmunk only to disappear behind there. I also had chipmunk in my intake under the filter filled with moss. On stock intake you'll have a smaller opening in fender well.

    Sweated my ass off!!!

Was gonna flush brake fluid, but looked good and pads need to be done in about 6 months give or take, so I'll do the fluid then.

    Rotated tires/reset air pressure/torque lugs
Cleaned inner fenders with simple green
Wiped down inner fender plastics with alcohol
Ceramic coated the inner fender plastics
While rims/tires off used Adams wheel cleaner

Still have oil/filter to do, trans drain/refill to do, skid plate arrangement to do (engine is under trans, and would catch, need to reverse that) RainX all windows, retorque drive shaft bolts, general inspection of boots, seals, etc, tap out the damn 12mm bolt under the front bumper caps and replace, check air/cabin filters.

Ya know, general ~53k maintenance when you wanna keep it a while
