Nice. I have been thinking about one of these toppers. My only concern is I use the full bed regularly enough that I taking it down may be inconvenient. Please share your experiences with the topper as you have them.

So I’m gonna assume by the likes that people aren’t having issues with chips or peeling?

Hows this attach? Can you post some photos if you have them of that process. What's the load limit on them? Nice installation, nice and clean!

For whatever reason I’ve never seen the white peeling in tissue on a tundra. Blue and gens occasionally. LOTS of ravs, corollas, Camrys, highlanders, and 4Runners. A few 3rd gen tacomas are starting to pop up too. The worst one I ever saw Toyota pay for.

Awesome info, thank you! From my research the 18-23 tacomas had paint issues from the plant in Mexico

my 2nd Gen hasn’t peeled but it does have a lot of rock chips; I haven’t seen as many rock chips on hoods of 2.5 gens though- also could be the different hood angle

Both our Sequoia and Tundra are white. We received a paint recall letter on the Sequoia about the white paint issue. So far, no real issues on either. HOWEVER, my buddies Sequoia chipped like crazy on the front right quarter panel, so it is definitely an issue on some. We keep ours in the garage and out of the sun most of the time, his stays out in the sun.

No drone at all on the highway. Unless I get over 2K rpms, I can’t hear it. Wife approves!

They attach under the bed rail. I have a crewmax so I had to drill and route out the plastic, but installation is super simple. They claim 1000 lb breaking strength
