I wish, we were a little tight on time so we just hit Schubarth Loop Trail, which has gotten way more washed out in the last year or so. But Hackett is on the list for later this summer for sure. You from the area?

Nice! I grew up in Conifer so very familiar with the area and most of the trails. We used to camp at the river crossing on Hackett gulch which can get pretty deep at times. I remember watching a guy on a three wheeler almost float away down the river! Brings back some memories of fun times. I know they closed the area for a good while after the Buffalo creek fire but heard I might have opened back up recently. Definitely one of my favorites and Red Cone Pass too!

Nice man! Yeah all the trails are open, but they stop at the Teller County line now so you can’t drive through the river, or you’re not supposed to at least. We ran Metberry last year and that was a blast, I’m itching to do everything else in that area in the near future

Lots of good trails in that area, that’s great they have opened it all back open again. Never done Metberry before, Longwater is a fun one too!

Was a light day today, but it’s not over.

Cleaned the throttle body and MAF sensor today since I’m at 100k miles.

MAF looked very clean, throttle body had some buildup, but wasn’t absolutely terrible.

Closer to sunset I plan on replacing guide/slide pins on the front calipers.

When I did the brakes the other day, the current pins have a slight bow to them and some buildup of grease and dirt I couldn’t remove.

So not much, but the journey to get this (new to me) baby right will make some progress today.

Tomorrow I’m picking up some like new 18” TRD wheels, I’m excited about that.

So now I have the following:
    Larger BFG All Terrains 275/70r18
    Like new TRD wheels
Eibach front leveling kit (rear already installed)

But need a lift to make it all happen…

Excited about the smoother ride in my future over these 20” Platinum wheels and tires.

Take a seat? Is that just because you can't get up out of yours? Or you don't remember where you put it...?

Do these add brake performance, or are they just because they’re better than the standard rubber lines?

Finally got my RCI rock sliders on! They look amazing and I now can get in and out of the truck with ease lol. Install was a pain in the ass, instructions from RCI are pretty bad and dont go that into detail. I ended up not doing the optional drilling into the bottom of the frame for the extra bolts for now. I plan on doing it later, but was dead after I installed them. For now they are plenty strong for what I will be putting them through. I am planning on going to Moab next year and for that I will definitely drill into the bottom of the frame though.

Here are some tips for the install if you are doing it yourself that helped me.
1: Make sure to have 2 3/8th ratchets. One will need a flex head in order to get to the bolts on the drivers side thats near the gas tank. This helped a lot. Didnt even need to move the gas tank or use a magnet like others did.
    2. For the small bolts make sure to have 2 13mm wrenches, ratchet are harder to use in the tight box end of the frame. It will help severely if one of the wrenches is also a ratcheting wrench!
    3. Get a buddy to help.... if you do it alone using jack stands it will make your life 10x harder than if you just get a buddy. Once you put in the first 2 bolts the frame will support the sliders and you dont need to hold it up anymore.

    Here are final pictures
