Well my stupid self didn't put my new steering wheel back on exactly straight when I replaced the OEM sw so at 5:30 this morning guess what I was doing.I didn't catch it until last night while driving for the first time after replacement.Live and learn always test drive after you perform work on your vehicle. It also caused a little glitch and threw a LDA light to appear on the dash but after disconnecting the negative on the battery and repositioning the sw all is good :fingerscrossed: Mad at myself....at 66 I should know better

I have not done any sound deadening and wasn’t planning on it during the install. I was going back and forth about doing the precut door kit from soundskins, but wasn’t sure if the $400 would really make a noticeable difference if I had no plans of doing any additional sound deadening beyond that.

I havent heard the best results from precut soundskins. but there are many brands of good quality to use. Even if you only threw down a sheet behind each speaker in the door- it would make a difference.
