Looks like he has changed his box design. I am assuming the box design was changed to accommodate the requirements for the sub. Did he supply the JL Sub?
    What Amp are using?
This is the sub and box he used to sell.

not sure regarding design change. I am using audiocontrol lc-5-1300 for my setup. I did not get the sub from him but got it from abt.com instead. Cheapest price i could find.
    Is your ported also?

the slotted in the box is to have clearance for the middle seat mounting bracket, i think. Once i put the seat back, it lined up to that slot and it cleared the bracket more. Still plenty of space behind the seat though.

Yes, Mine is ported and fits behind the seat well.
Are you using the oem radio? I am using the DSP amp from James and pretty impressed with the sound upgrade between the amp and the sub. Now I am looking at upgrading the rest of the speakers throughout.

Paid off!!! 6 years. Bought new, has 110,000 on it now. Meticulously maintained so hopefully it lasts a million miles unless some idiot smashes into me.

    Best "mod" of all!

Luckily I was able to trade a fully paid off Tacoma and 4runner for my used 2021 Tundra earlier this year. Walked out the dealership with Tundra title (metaphorically, came in the mail later) and a pretty hefty check that we used to pay off our Sequoia as well.

Got everything prepped for suspension install on Saturday, and did a quick slider wire wheel and paint. Going with Steelit Coatings this time, hopefully it’ll hold up better than the home depot rattle can I’ve been using.

I was told it's illegal in Tn, but never had a cop say anything to me about it the couple times I got pulled over when I had 1 on my 07 tundra

Started putting things together for my “I’m too damn old for a come-along” project. Winch in cradle, attached the 8’ quick disconnect lead and bulked it around. It’s hefty but it’ll beat the hell out of stringing and re-rigging a come-along to get dead things on and off the trailer.

I’ve heard the same thing, that it’s illegal, but I could care less. I’ve had one in my T100 since the day I bought it and I’ve been pulled over multiple times with it in plain sight

My wife (4'10"ish) and I lifted ours on the first time, it stayed there for the summer until I build a hoist in the fall in the garage to lift it on and off, so much easier that way.

Kept searching on FB Marketplace for a complete TRD exhaust, and one finally popped up! 300 bux later to a nice guy 30 mins away, and it was in my garage ready to mount. I needed to buy the extra hanger for the driver side exit, so that came in early this week. All mounted up and sounds great!

I bought a sub from James about 6 months ago and had to locate it on the passenger side. The driver's side seat wouldn't fit because of the seat bracket. Must be his new design to accommodate the seat.

@HulkSmurf14 You know it! Been run'n with Bilstein 5160's rear and King 2.5s front. She's all balanced out now and it's a helluva difference. Love it. Need to replace rear brakes and replace my blown out bed cover sometime.
I had busted the tail pipe flange/bracket from DD exhaust to tail pipe and had a buddy weld it on last week. Probably gonna wash the truck Saturday.

That's what I figured. I can't justify a hard mounted winch on the front of the truck. I've pulled somewhere between 6-8 dead cars onto my trailer this year alone. Between that, scrap and firewood, it just makes more sense to have the versatility of a mobile winch.

150 miles dragging the rzr for a new cage. Set the cruise at 72 in 5th gear and let her run. Saw 5psi of boost a few times passing people. Trans stayed at 188*, coolant at 195*. New valvebody made lock up more noticeable while towing but not harsh. Just noticeable. Now to drop the trailer and let her eat all the way to Hot Springs.

Stock, with a few cosmetic mods.
Just refinished my skid plates and while I had them off I did the transfer case drain and fill. I also degreased the entire underside of the vehicle and power washed yesterday. Today I used 4 of the 6 cans of Cosmoline I bought to undercoat the truck. Pics below.
