I've been using it for a couple of weeks now. It has randomly reset twice, but the audio comes right back. The third time it did not come back but I held the reset button and it rebooted and was fine.

Im not saying it is not going to become an issue in the future but ill be watching it closely. Thanks for the heads up.

It worked for about a week but then never really played audio longer than 30 minutes at a time since my commute is only 7 miles, 15 min drive. But I did a hard reset, updated the firmware, nothing. The audio was fine in the morning but later in the afternoon, even after a few minutes of playing pandora, it would just shut off entirely and a loud squeal.

Got back from the Redwoods in Boulder Creek, Ca. A beautiful area. Cruised through Santa Cruz and down to Big Sur. Our favorite road trip to take.

I have a damaged hood from offroad shenanigans. I was able to pick up a hood locally from someone scrapping theirs. I plan on doing a two tone paint. Starting the practice process and testing blue pearls over black.

I picked up my Dad's little Ford tractor for a side job brush hogging a field. I hadn't had the OTT tune done when I picked it up, but this last Saturday I hauled the tractor to the field and then home to my Dad on Sunday. I should have tuned the truck earlier. Much easier to tow, the transmission feels much better and the truck seemed happier with the weight. By my idiot math, I was right around 6500-7000 between tractor and trailer.

good to know about the OTT tune!

I got the alignment redone w/ some minor caster adjustments. No more pulling left and feels good now!

ordered an electric tongue jack for the travel trailer- hope to install that this weekend, and a new set of tires for the trailer. Will have to schedule an appt at the shop to do the tire install once I have confirmed delivery date. Trailer runs ST235/75/15 so not available at most normal shops.

Upgraded to an eBay flip key - programmed using a rental tool from TomsKey. Still need to get it cut, but the remote and transponder programmed with no issues.

Nothing yet except for some LED interior & exterior bulbs.
Put it to work and hauled a 6.5x16 trailer of brush and saplings to the dump from a long overdue yard cleanup. On the way home I noticed the guy who may "miss" things like tinted windows on the state inspection wasn't too busy so I dropped the trailer at the house and ran back over there to get my sticker. The front door windows were tinted when I bought the truck in April and I really didn't want to peel it off but the temp inspection sticker was way expired and I'd have a hard time explaining it away if I got stopped. This state just keeps getting worse.

Stock, with a few cosmetic mods.
Removed my TRD skid plate today which needs some cosmetic attention, also removed my Taco Tunes Cat Protection Plate so I could do my 50k mile Transfer Case oil swap. Oil looked great coming out. Also cut 2 little access holes into the TT Plate as mounting it with the oem skid plate is a serious pita. Next projects include adding a tranny cooler and cleaning and undercoating the underside with Cosmoline. More to come.

This weekend I treated the truck to a new interstate battery from Costco. 27F for like 120 bucks, which is cheap insurance if you ask me.

Also tackled the cold weather rear brake squeak when backing up with some Disk Brake Quiet, which is this interesting orange/red bottle of goop that goes on the back of the brake pad. Squeak gone!

So with the Bilstien 5100 set on top notch I was inch higher in the front, got alignment and now I’m lvl. Don’t know if alignment did it or what. Also got the AGP faux trd pro wheels, cannot get the shake out of steering wheel.had tires balanced several times still there at 65 to 70 mph. Wheels are junk and would not recommend.

Forgot to mention I had a slow leak in one tire, thought valve stem being they were brand new tires, nope the AGP rim was leaking. Had to fight to get them to send new one. JUNK.

Frustrating for sure. I had that issue with a set of racelines on my 1st gen years ago. Took two replacements and a dozen trips to get them balanced before the issue was minimized enough to be manageable. Never completely went away though.

Update on the Eibach Pro 2R kit - it is fully installed now. I lowered the preload collar 1" (8 turns) before installation and they still netted about 3/4 in lift over the stock springs with 116k on them. Sitting at 38"f/39"r so still have some rake and looks stock. Short drive to work in traffic this morning, so no real testing yet but even at that these are a dramatic improvement. We'll see if they settle at all, but I'm very happy with them so far and I can still fit the truck in the garages at home & work. Durobumps added front/rear too. Very pleased so far. Big thanks to @memario1214 for the quick shipping.

During the install I noticed that both front sway bar end links are garbage - loose at the sway bar connection and totally rusted/seized. Crazy because I torqued them on the bench before I installed the TRD sway bar less than 10k miles ago. Hopefully the sway bar isn't wallowed out too much but tbd I guess. I have the original links in the garage still attached to the factory bar so I will see if they can be swapped in. I'll likely have to cut off the junk moog links, but they're soaking in PB blaster currently so maybe I can break them loose when I get to this.

Here's a crappy photo from the home depot parking lot this morning:

    5.jpg

and the front as I was getting it all buttoned up last night:
