What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Found a sweet spot in the bags at 70 psi, might go a little higher as it still leans into corners pretty heavily. Getting excited for that sway bar install, it might drive like a truck again instead of a damn pontoon boat

Looks good did you run the OE hard lines or use rubber for the entire install??

 

I used OE hardlines and rubber hoses.

That's what I ended up buying as well.... some of the guys said they had issues trying to get the hard lines to line up, but I'm thinking it was a matter of snugging things down in the wrong order....

I struggled with them too. The mounting tabs did not line up by about a quarter inch. I tried multiple times and nothing was working. The solution was to back out the bolt holding the mounting bracket near the alternator. This gave enough clearance.

 

• New front brake pads (they weren’t totally gone, but they’re so easy to change I just went ahead and did it)
• Tire rotation
• Oil change
All set @ 75k

Before I hit the dunes I has to install some whips. My old one busted on a trail and is gone. I grabbed some 4ft Nilight ones and connected them to my chase light circuit. Fabbed up some brackets to the bed so the topper can still close with the mounts installed, and the swing cases still operate. They’re brighter than I imagined, comes with a remote and a ton of options.

dump time! insulation is done, 260ish 4x12 sheets of rock and some scraps equals a full truck, and a couple bags for tomorrow too.

 

Sold the GFC and picked up a Diamondback - it's a pretty solid product, but I don't think I'll be keeping it for long

I also highly recommend Basil's Garage in Vista, CA if you ever need a camper transferred.

 

We were a Tundra/4runner family. But needed the 3rd row plus better city mpg so now we are a Tundra/Highlander family.

 

Over the weekend. Added a PACKOUT wall. Will be adding necessary tools. I can’t take credit for the idea as I borrowed it from @French Avocado.

 

Will be adding my “roadside/backwoods” kit. I spend most over November in NC Pa. with no cell service in the mountains. it’s not fun having to rely on others or hope that others have the stuff you need to make necessary repairs.
