    I have the BSM option in my truck and putting on regular mirrors on my truck would be a setback. Eventually I'll just have to buy black or color matched caps. I was just testing the water to see if anybody might have just mirror caps laying around that they were getting rid of. Thank you

    How you get the center piece to stay on? It looked like it was tied in with the caps to stay on.

    I'll probably get reamed for this, but here goes. For the guys who are changing the mirror caps, door handles from chrome to black or color matched. Why not buy a cheaper packaged truck, that doesn't have chrome mirrors and door handles, if you know you're gonna change it anyways. Seems to me, it's a waste of money, considering the price difference between, say a SR5 or a platinum.

    The center piece is bolted to the bumper caps, but when you pull them off, put the screws back in the holes and tighten them up again..

    Maybe the platinum has other shit they want and changing out some handles and mirror caps is a minor change. Maybe people change their minds too, what they want today and see something different later. Not everyone that buys a truck today already had a vision of what they want it to look like when they buy it.

    That's exactly my situation. I purchased a limited because I wanted leather, a sunroof, and some other small features that are part of This package. If I have to deal with some minor changes to make this truck me is easier than wishing that some of the things I wanted were on this vehicle.

    Adding leather, a sunroof to an SR5 would be tough, but changing some chrome handles to black is a walk in the park.

    Well just got done putting the bumper back together. Color matched end caps, center valence and mirror caps. The mirror caps to me really make a big difference. Front end is 90% done. Next is headlights.
