I know how she feels. Ended up going with these APS in chrome because that N-Fab step was awkward as sin.

I used to have AMP steps and she loved them, except for the noise.
But I got tired of buying replacement parts for them, burned out motors and disintegrating gears.

Knowing what I know now, I should have left the ugly OEM tube steps on it.
I never had door dings until the AMP steps..

I don't even use the step to get in and out.
She sighs and rolls her eyes every time she gets in and out of the truck with these D6s.
They look cool, but she can't seem to grasp the idea of turning her foot parallel to the step getting in and out.
She only wears a size 5 shoe, but God forbid I tell her what to do............

Dad broke the tube steps running over an abandoned boat.
Ugliest popcorn welds on those. I could've done better with a blow torch and a coat hanger.

Ordered maintenance parts for the Tundra (and Sienna and Camrys) from Serra. 25% off and free shipping over $75. The fargin wiper blades for the Tundra make up a significant amount of the order.

Dude.... I've been hiding under a rock for a little while, so I'm late to the party. Those subsequent dash cam pics you posted ... holy crap! I'd like to be able to say "that'll buff right out," but.... Sorry about the truck. Glad you and the family are safe though. Like someone said, at the end of the day that's what its there for (occupant protection). Haven't read through all your posts, but was this in CT? Happy to hear you're looking to get another 2.5 ... might I suggest another white one.... :D

Went out Satuday and camped overnight - took the truck on 200 mile RT journey, with 100 of those on dirt, and 25 of them on some rough trails, OnX only rates is as a 6/10. Truck did fantastic, had to wait for everyone else in my party (a 4runner and a GX, both stock). Pinged my side steps on a few rocks, but no damange.

Ordered a MOLLE panel seat back organizer a few days ago, it came in today. Got it installed and organized a few things, mainly my trauma kit from my hunting pack in the upper right. Never hurts to be prepared.

Funny part is, it fell off the headliner at some point and I didn't notice. I found it under the driver seat when putting the Molle panel up.

How long do you guys run your truck before putting in drive/reverse.

Manual said if you can't wait for it to warm up, give it at least 10 seconds. I find sometimes the pressure guage is still moving around after 10 seconds in the cold and I'll give it a little longer if I can't let it warm up all the way.

Just something I've been thinking about. Am I being silly?

If parked outside in cooler.months, I wait until the SAIP turns off...otherwise, pulling outta the garage, I wait 10 seconds

Start it, put on seat belt, put in gear. Only vehicle I don't do that with is dad's bronco as that motor is cold blooded as hell and needs to sit on the choke for a bit or it'll die if you try to drive it.
