Dropped truck at the dealer service this morning. Lots of warnings and also 4HI 4LO flashing simultaneously this morning. Open the hood and found squirrel nest. It chewed harnesses good. Will be an expensive repair

Thanks man. I didn't want a color that everyone had and this popped up. I've actually only seen one in the wild, ever, besides mine.

It's on Fox Elite 2.5 set at 3" with coachbuilder 1" shims up front. Dirt King UCA and rear shackles. Coachbuilder diff drop, bumstops, carrier bearing drop and abs/brakeline relo.

I did an aggressive bmc and did the viper cut on the front bumper.

Tires are 37x12.5 KM3s and the wheels are 17x8.5 0 offset.
Can lock full turn both ways with no rubbing or scrubbing in drive and reverse!

    Pretty stoked about it.

37s and stock gearing had no noticeable power reduction. When you hit fun mode (tow/haul) you can really feel the power and it jumps off the line.

Want to tune it next and see how much more fun it will be.

Last year I was driving through the desert, in some high winds. I started hearing flapping as I was driving down the highway. I thought it was the notorious roof weatherstripping coming loose. I pulled over and could find nothing wrong. Kept driving and hearing the noise. Finally figured it out after pulling over again in the middle of nowhere to find that one of my wheel well engine splash shields, had torn loose. So I just ripped it all the way off lol

Had a hell of a time trying to figure out what they were called trying to order new ones. Finally found them. Those little pieces of shit are very expensive! over $60 apiece plus shipping as well as most likely needing to buy new plastic rivets. So I let it ride for a while. Finally found some made by ARK. There are other brands out there, even some fairly cheap aftermarket on Amazon that are supposedly thicker. But I ended up buying the Tripolly onesfrom ARK for about $117 plus shipping. They come with all the little rivets and seem like a nice upgrade. Here’s some pics, I chose the red accent.

These are a two piece design. Had to drill one hole with a 5/16 drillbit. Of course I hit it with some black rust-oleum!.

Had the paper weight detailed so I can start working on it. Moving in a couple weeks to the new house and can focus on this thing again. Maybe parts will start showing up as well.

Finally got on some concrete to work on the truck. Hoping to button it up tomorrow.

    1. Installed the arb rear diff breather I bought after the hurricanes caused some dicey road conditions.

    2. Pulled the power wire for the tailgate lock. Just shy so need to reroute it later. This sucked.

    3. Intalled my SS fog lights! I'll wire them in tomorrow for sure! The whites are dead now, waiting for me to find my auxbeam switch and then I'll wire them back up.

Tired and sore, buy great day!

    Did all these this week.
Installed lower bumper light bar, Lasfit 32" single row. Using caliraised lower bumper bracket for their 32" bar.
Installed front camera. Forgot to take picture. I have the honeycomb grille, so the camera is mounted below the emblem.

Man, seeing a truck that clean really makes me wish I'd looked harder for a Cavalry truck. That blue is one of my favorite colors offered by Toyota. The only one I like better is the old Speedway Blue offered on the Tacoma's.

Got a Powertrax LSD installed. So tired of the 1 wheel spin and nannies every time I try to turn up my hill in the rain. And where I am - it rains a lot!
Looking forward to testing it out on the next ski trip.
