At 45k, changed front and rear differential fluids. They looked almost new. Replaced with Valvoline 75W-90 GL5. Also replaced the transfer case fluid. It also looked great. Use Redline MT-LV. My manual pump doesn’t fit that bottle so I made a funnel from a paper plate. A little messy but it worked.

I like that idea. Do you have any vibrations due to the weight? Also, where did you run your CB cable and antenna?

No vibration. The bracket is firmly rooted to the existing mount holes - if I ever wanna put the radio anywhere else, I can just snap the missing piece back into the console like nothing was ever done to it. I have full time power from an aux port I put in my glove box - best part is the receptacle is a dual inlet cigarette lighter style w/USB port. I power my dash cam through the USB so I can enable the parking mode.

Wrapped up Christmas shopping today and grabbed myself a new shovel while I was at it. Got the shovel and my absolute favorite axe mounted. Less stuff to bang around on trails in the truck bed. I follow the less is more mantra when it comes to gear, wheeling and offroading so this molle panel wont have anything else on it, but it will be used as a tie down point for my diesel heater in the winter. Super OCD about the gear I do carry- so I am excited to share the fully loaded up rig next month on my next adventure. The bed will be high level tetris and if you are OCD like me you will enjoy it lol

Bonus pic of the rig out shopping today.

Not tundra related but I know a few were wondering how the Bilstein 8100 and 8112s are. Old man had some installed on his 4 runner.

During his neighborhood urban whoop testing max speed was 35mph and now over 73mph. Says the ride is plush but way more compliant. Even better than the FJ which has incon stage 100 or whatever they list it as.

    Thanks to @memario1214 !

With the help of a friend, we spent a part of the afternoon installing the Bushwacker OE Style Factory Front and Rear Fender Flares. It was a 4-piece set, Smooth Black Finish.
The only issue / problem was the Mud Flaps that were on the Tundra when I bought it back in 2019. I ended up taking them off.
The fender flares and mud flaps would not fit flush.
I figured they were not factory mud flaps. Whoever owned the truck prior to me must have installed them.
I will just have to figure something out but for now the fender flares look really nice.
I will take pictures tomorrow and post them.

The X2 in my 4runner just shit the bed, purchased 3/21, also replaced under warranty. It just flat out died, it was fine the last time I drove the truck, then a few weeks later was at 4 volts and would not take a charge. The new one is only warrantied through the original one, so covered through 3/26. I was also informed that the one I had was one of the last with a 5 year warranty, they are 4 now.

After finally receiving my LC200 blower motor (ordered Aug 21) I tossed it in and hot damn, that's a much more refined blower! Definitely throws more air. It took all of 10 min to install and a measureable improvement!

Finally had a sunny day so I drilled the roof and installed the victory 4x4 roof rack. Drilling was easy but had a oh shit moment with the first rivnut install. Tool ripped the threads right out. I had to drill the rivnut out and reinstall a new one.

    IMG_2531.jpg
    IMG_2532.jpg

Removed the weather stripping and found the rivnut I drilled out haha.

I know the pocket style Bushwackers like mine require the mud flaps to be removed. I don't remember on the OE style.

Parked it in the garage to allow the roof rack sealant to properly cure.

I replaced the cabin air filter on Saturday and then turned the heat on and was met with a hell of a racket. Loud vibration at full speed on the heat fan. I figured the blower motor might be going but decided to pull it out and inspect. I pulled the blower motor and found this shit sitting in the fins! Lol... There were actually a couple other acorns in there as well that fell out before I took the picture. They were completely hollowed out so it was just shells. Dumped that crap out and put it back in and it's quiet as can be. Clearly had a mouse or chipmunk that chewed its way into my truck

    What’s in the box?

SCS Ray10 18x9 +25mm fully machined finish - been a long time coming, but finally going to upgrade the wheels and tires. Also added the OEM TRD center cap.

The other four wheels got delayed with UPS so still waiting on the full set, but stoked to get these mounted.
