Stock, with a few cosmetic mods.
@JrJrOffroad Assuming your trucks a daily driver why would you want solids? I have them in my Roadrunner and at certain rpm’s my mirrors get fuzzy and interior pieces get noisy.

If I have to disassemble the caliper to replace the boot I figured I’d just replace both with new ones, rebuild the old ones and keep them as spares.

Took advantage of the Fred Anderson Toyota sale, 25% off through tomorrow. Ordered an army green TRD Pro grille and hood bulge , garnish, and push nuts, all totaled came out to $693. Got an army green front and rear bumper off a TRD Pro on FB marketplace awhile back, as well as a set of the TRD Pro BBS wheels. Going to have them painted bronze a-la Land Cruiser heritage edition, but when it's all said and done should have a faux-TRD pro lol, minus the tailgate.

Don't forget your fake hood scoop! Then you'll be official.

That's right I forgot the TRD Pro's have the hood scoop, is it the same hood/one that comes on the sports? In any case, I think I recall from Roman's ultimate parts thread that the scoops don't come painted, and you'd need a TRD sport hood or drill your own hood. Guess I'll just have to let my engine bay suffer and be hot haha

Check the build link in my signature.
The scoop doesn’t do anything anyway - the hood is still solid. It just has bolt and mounting clip holes in it

@Snert mostly joking on that one. It is useless and I’d prefer the flat hood myself.

Made some ground cable to replace the oxidized oem strap and some other point. Does it do anything? Probably not. Is it overkill? Of course. But why not.
I was under the truck while back doing the diff and transfer fluid change and notice the factory braided ground strap. It’s green kinda crusty looking. Not horrible but i wanted to change it.
While i’m at it, i changed a couple other point too. Used some ofc welding cable, 4 awg. Heat shrink with glue, marine type. I used solder instead of crimping. Utility torch is nice to have on hand for this. Melt the solder inside the lug and insert cable, wait couple seconds to harden. Heatshrink. Done!
    IMG_3889.jpg

you can kind of see the oxidation on the ground strap here. More noticeable in person. Much more green.

Toyota sells rebuild kits for them. I bought a new set of calipers (when toyota had one of their parts sales) for my truck, they were a few hundred for all 4. No core charge from Toyota.

Probably the most useful mod I've seen, I'm getting too old. Went from climbing in and out to crawling and now it's more of a sit on the tailgate and spin maneuver that probably looks goofy as hell.

Got brake checked and destroyed the bed. I'll update with pics when I get a little daylight. Cracked some welds and shoved the front of the bed into the back of the cab. I could pretend like this bothers me but I won't, the plan is to get rid of the bed eventually anyway and cage the back half for some serious LT trophy truck style action.

Think I'll copy @sub.5 Moa (they must not be around anymore)
It's probably not as bad as I think it is, I have a tendency to over react and over estimate damage.

I'm thinking you may actually have something here... find a source to produce a hundred or so for you, add them to your brand, and vend that shit here and on other trucks forums....

Good luck!! That sucks, but an excuse for Insurance to pay for a chunk of a flatbed is a golden opportunity! There's also the folks up north that do flatbeds that look phenomenal. You do have to be in Canada for a few days though.

Anyways, Love to see any pics and information you get for putting a flatbed on. I really want one, but the 8-12k for it makes me hesitate.

Think he said this one ran just over 6. Worth every penny if it is lighter and stronger than a stock bed imo

I was expecting that the whole bed had shifted and was looking at the frame for cracks or weird bends. Turns out it just separated at the seams, which is not great but not terrible.
