Used the grinder to seperate the washer from the bolt, this went right in between the two without tapping out larger.

 

Installed Morimoto 2 stroke 4.0 LED HL bulbs last night and didn't realize that they needed to be aligned to work correctly in a OEM housing.Yep got to take all that sh@# apart and realign the bulbs....SMH

 

You will need to disconnect the sway bar at the links to accurately adjust the tension on the RAS. I did not do that and it will inaccurately loaded the coil on the RAS. You will see that the leaf springs will droop down more when you disconnect the sway links.

 

Gotcha. I will give it a shot later this evening. Thanks for the tip. I had wrapped everything up already. Look like it will be easy to remove the links and readjust the ras tension spring. No need to remove the wheels.

Changed the oil this morning. First time with the new RCI skid plates and it was a breeze. Used a socket and an extension to press in the oil filter drain attachment through the access hole

 

What the, where have you been? You know what’s a breeze? Not having a skid at all. LOL

I took my RCI off to repaint and haven’t put it back on yet… going to get new grade 8 hardware for it since it’s been about 3 years with the one RCI supplied. I may need to pull off my skid plate crossmember bar too, ugh.

The Motive X tool and drain are game changers .I installed a Fumoto valve also

 

Threw on protection rings. All the protection it can get while undrivable

 

Dust protection.

 

I have the Fumoto valve and it’s amazing. I just ordered this to help with draining the filter.

My issue wasn't installing the plastic cap, but I did 2 oil changes using them and it took me way to much time both changes getting that damn plastic cap removed so I could put my filter wrench on the filter. Like, comically funny. Those threaded drain hoses are soo nice. I just hand tighten and it doesn't leak and comes off with no effort.

Just make sure you have it closed when you thread it in

Mine was open from cleaning it and I didn't even check when I threaded it into the filter housing. Slight mess was made hahaha

 

Ya I too had an issue removing the plastic drain cap thing. Had to use pliers and ended up snapping it into several pieces haha. Thanks for the tip.

i wanted to try it for some time and i can honestly say that its just what i have been looking for and does what it says
i connected my ipad to my trucks wifi and blue tooth the glo 2 to the pad and bam!!
my phone connect automatically and is more accurate
