installed my 6112's. this time was the easiest time I've ever had. the two previously took several hours, this one, started at ten in the morning and was doing the shakedown drive 3 hours later. now on to wheels and tires. still debating between 33X12.50X18, or 305X65X18

 

Why not 295/70/18

these seem to be in stock consistently, I would like methods of the similar design, but man, for a truck that will spend 75% of its life on pavement justifying that much more money is hard, especially to the wife unit

The hdmi is plug and play into the back of the head unit. The usb c requires cutting the factory cig lighter connector and crimping on two connectors.

 

My first time towing a decent sized trailer with my truck. It did great, though so air bags would have helped with the sag and resulting caster change up front. The trailer was ~4500 lb and had another ~450 lb in the bed.

 

My camper is 29’ 5060 pounds dry weight. About 200-300 extra pounds and the tundra pulls it just fine. A weight distribution hitch will help. I added airbags and that worked out great with the wdh. Everything level and not near as much bounce on roads with dips and bumps.

 

New set of BFG KO3’s installed this week in a 285/70/18. They seem like a great tire so far but only time will tell, anxious to get them into some snow and see how they compare to the KO2’s. Also got some other goodies to install after Thanksgiving here too when I have a little time off work and I can claim the garage for a few days

 

kenwood 1057xr. I updgraded the amp and speakers a while ago, so this will kind of be a plug and play with the head unit as well!

 

The work has begun ....rear dif drain n fill and did the axle vent mod . Tomorrow will include frt diff,transfer case , engine oil and coolant flush/change.OH YEAH BABY

 

Picked up a quad in very cold temps, it fit the truck perfectly!!

Did a minature shake down of all the suspension goodies. I had no idea how capable these trucks were in 4lo. absolute mountain goat. IMS was and medium leaf pack was great on washboard gravel and tight steep and flexy trails!
