Scored these bad boys off FB marketplace today. $600 for the coilovers, forecasting $500 for a rebuild, and $215 for 650lb springs = Fresh coilovers for $1,315. Pretty amped.

Got it washed for the first time since June, new wiper blades, topped off coolant, found a strap on my chalk bag torn, 360 mile road trip, about to try my hand at removing the vinyl strips between the windows, run errands. Just another day.

Installed color matched letters to the door emblem I designed.

Fixed my bumper. Working with ABS plastic sucks but still not as bad as working with leather.

That’s awesome. I also just scored some Icon coilovers for my wife’s 4runner for $500. Guy sold his 4runner and took them off with 6 months use on them.

That’s gonna be sick! I’ve already started planning out a build for when I pony up for a 4Runner for my wife as well

Why not swap to something more impact resistant like polyethylene other than ABS being easier to shape? An anti-static uhmw pe is what I used to skin my oem skids on 4Runner. Has been pretty tough stuff.

Just a note - don’t skip the intake accordion piece. Your motor moves, the air box does not, as it’s mounted to the body. You will break the airbox mounts.

Ahem, cough, cough, you mean one...the 4runner makes more progress and isn't a build...it's always looked like this :anonymous: at least, that's what's I've been saying for years..."I've had these parts for years, babe; I'm just getting around to installing them!"

Wife is actually pushing the 4runner build. Gave me some funds and here I am. Sliders and swing out tire carrier come in next week. She wants it to be our weekend wheeler.

Even though it’s Jerry’s guitar (my favorite) and I’ve had it sitting in my music room for over a year now, it seemed fitting to finally replace the 4x4 badge.

Installed my twin compressor with an SDHQ mount and changed the position of my fogs to aim a little straighter. Ran out of time so I’ll wire up and test the compressor tomorrow

Cant go wrong with either. I have the fasterflate cause I like the orange and his customer service is top notch. Highly recommended. I’ve had the same hoses for years and prob aired up my rig and others north of 100 times now
