Thanks for the info. I had the 6112 before I installed the Pro Fox stuff. I thought the 6112 sucked on road. The Pro Fox is better but I figured there has to be better stuff available so I went all out on adjustable 8112s. @memario1214 at Hotshot was a great help figuring out what direction I should go in.

No problem. I am sure the 8112 will be better than the 6112,which to me suck for everyday driving and road comfort. So many people swore by the 6112 when they came out. I bought them used and was able to re-sell them so I didn't lose much. Maybe the 8112, since they are adjustable, will be better when it comes to road manners. I had to do the research for myself to know the difference between the 3 different types of shocks. Had I done it beforehand and look outside the tundra forum I would have seen how bad the 6112 where for everyday driving. I still stand by never going back to a digressive shock.

Hell, we still didn't get through all of them lol. I sighted in a scope on my .30-30, which hopefully I can get my son over his fear of recoil with. He's 11, and in CO you have to be 12 to big game hunt. I'd like to get his hunters safety done this winter/spring, get him a deer license next fall and hopefully knock out that father son moment. The problem with CO is the smallest caliber for rifle big game is .243 so I can't get him on a .223 or .22-250 for deer.

I was really proud of his shooting yesterday, but he still has a fear of recoil. I could only get him through 5 shots with the .30-30 before he said it was too much for him. I can't get the video small enough, but I took a slow-mo of him shooting my .22-250 Savage, and it looks like he's not holding it tight enough to his body in the shoulder, so he's taking more of a hit. One way or another, it means more practice lol.

Sounds like my buddies kid. He was used to shooting .22, 5.56 and 7.62x39.....never fired a shotgun. We were out at a range day and I was plinking a target at about 30 yards with my 12 gauge and slugs, he wanted to try it. I tried to tell him she bucks like a mule and I could load a target load, no no, he's a big boy and can handle it. Well, lemme tell ya, when that 12 gauge hit that 105 lb, 14 yr old scrawny kid, he looked like he was in a car accident. Now a few years later, no problem, he's bigger and expecting the recoil.

That's my fear, judging by the video, it looks like he's pushing the rifle out of his shoulder anticipating recoil. He even fears .223 out of my AR's. He shot my 300BLK and didn't worry one bit though.

Its just a matter of practice. I don't have kids, but all my buddies do, and just seeing them going from flinching like a tweaker with a AR pattern rifle to handling a Mosin Nagant like a red army regular is quite cool.

Those are Vgate battery terminals that you can get on Amazon. Just pick the appropriate set for your battery needs.

Yes, but with a progressive twist thrown in. I just refer to them as progressive because you hardly ever hear linear thrown around from all the discussions I have read. Also if you look at a shock curve you can see that progressive and linear look similar where digressive has a spike on the curve.

Can confirm September is still hot. Last year it was still in the high 90s when I went. This last week it was nicer but man that UT direct sunlight feels hotter than the AZ sunlight idk what it is.

Honestly if these were ever so slightly cheaper I think its the one rig I would trade for. The TRD pro is sooooooo nice.

Anyone here running a transfer flow 46 gallon fuel tank? I’m looking to upgrade from the 26. Considering the oem 38 gallon and the transfer flow 46 are almost the same exact price these days, I’m torn between what’s the better option. Oem/lighte

Any pros or cons you can share. I am putting together my next brake job and the yellow stuff was on my list. I currently run Hawk LTS pads. They are good and they seem to work better as they warm up. They do produce quite a bit of brake dust. Looking to switch pads next go a round.
