Ok but what are you measuring when he says I have 2" Coach Builder shackles the entire body of the shackle from end to end or bolt hole centers?

Well the bolt centers will be an additional 2” over the stock bolt centers. I’m not sure how overall length compares to stockers.

Installed the rivnuts for the Rago Fabrication ARB mount, and got the BlueSea Systems SafetyHub 150 mounted, did some cleanup of the cables. Looks like I busted one of the rivnuts, and might need a longer bolt. It's not exactly straight. I spent way too much time measuring, using a level, etc. Used some stainless M5x16 button head screws with lock washers and lock nuts to mount the SH 150 to the top plate.

    Just starting reno
I put bilstein 5100s on all 4 corners
    Fronts are on middle setting
Add a leaf w normal stock leaf package & eckstrom 2" shackles ... I didn't measure them versus the ones I took off
I have a hair-bit of rake left which I like
It think it lifted like 225 250 overall but honestly again I didn't measure

Hyper dip anthracite needs to be a bit blacker to match MGM better but I'm not complaining it looks good to me (esp for about $100)

Stock, with a few cosmetic mods.
Happy with the compound for sure, easy on and off, removed the water spots as well as any tar or other contaminates. Time will tell if the Hyper Wax holds up to the environment since the truck is not garaged.

This is why they died. Air pressure compensation holes in boots, moisture and grime gets in and eat up the seal.

Maybe shocks that mount upside down is not that bad idea...

Anyhow. This is what my Tundra got:

    upload_2024-10-7_7-17-47.jpg

Size and ride quality difference is massive! I now want to replace the front 5100s as well :)

Also I assembled the shock's washers in a wrong order and it all fell apart on the way to Lowes. Had to park at closest friend's driveway and call wife. Some hardware was lost, but Toyota old originals fit well. RTFM!

A few years ago I bought a slightly used DRZ400SM from the local Dealer/shop (where the original owner financed it) I believe it was Sept of 21 and I was told the I would have the registration and Title within 90 days (From Penn DOT) 90 days came and went but before that I started checking in with the state and the dealer to find out if there was an issue. Long story short, the state has no record of my info and come to find out the paperwork was "lost in the mail", which had to start the process over. I did find out that the dealer never had the title and used my cash to pay off the original owners loan which delayed it even more. Once the 90 days was up, I was technically not legal to ride on the road. The documentation fees were around $300 and since I did most of the leg work to get this resolved, I demanded a refund (which they did do) They also failed to initiate the extended warranty which I had to do the leg work on to get it transferred. This shop has been around for many many years and has sold 1000's of bikes, and off road / on road vehicles, so there is no excuse for them. I was told that it may have been illegal for them to use my money to pay off the previous loan and that they should have had the title prior to them selling the bike. This may have been a one off for them but I don't trust them to buy anything else.

Were those boots ever zip tied to the shock body?

I know I had to check mine every oil change. Had to double zip tie to keep them secured.

Here are mine at about 40k. Got 5160s and Icon RXT lined up for an upgrade to the rear end.

Is it wet truck, undercoating or the shock leaking?

Wouldn’t this be 1.25” of lift from hub to edge of fender?

    Hi all,
Does anybody know if there is a rep from ICS Fab on here? I'm wanting to buy the lower dash mount from them and see they are within an hour away from me so just wanted to see if purchasing in person is an option before I order it online.

    Thank you,

For future reference, all vendors are listed on the home page (as viewed from a PC). Just scroll down a bit and they're on the left. I don't see ICS listed.

Yeah, I checked there first and didn't see them listed either. I also checked TacomaWorld. There are sometimes users on here that are reps for some of our favorite vendors that aren't on that list. I've got an email out to them as well but thought maybe I'd check here as well.

Do they not have a phone number listed on their site or their Google maps (or equivalent maps page)? I would think a quick call would answer your question. If no one answers the call, doubtful they would do business in person

They might still respond to your email and if so, you could provide the lacking phone number as feedback and ask about doing business in person since they are local.

    Good luck

Was going to paint them but decided to give the covers a shot. They are ok not the best fit but they will do for now. The biggest issue if I went the painting route is, that if it starts to peel that would drive me nuts. Also my driver side trim is cracked so I would need to get a new door panel snice they don't sell just the trim.

Didn't know there were covers for that, thanks . I just found them on Amazon. Is that where you got yours?

I gotta see if taking that trim piece off is a hassle. I painted my dash trim pieces so I'm looking at matching them vs. doing what you did.
