Here it is stuck at the Good Evening Ranch.
Looking forward to getting the new tires mounted. I'm currently have Pitbulls mounted but they are radials.
The TSL's are Bias ply and should be a little more sticky. Plus the sidewalls should be tougher.

As much as I like doing everything myself, too many other projects and nervous about messing something up and ruining something on fluid refills...at the dealer getting trans, coolant, diff, transfer case and brake fluid drain and fill and a 4w alignment. Costing a fortune, but at 4 1/2 years, 100k miles and still looks/feels close to new, ok to give her a spa day...

What's it cost? I might do this at 30k coming up, minus the alignment.

I can appreciate the time problem. I have experienced the same thing at times. You just pay because your time is more valuable in other areas.
However, there is nothing to be nervous about on these trucks. The trans is one of the easier ones. Hit the right temp and all of the guess work is gone... No dipstick to read just right or anything. Pull the screw and if it is drizzling you are good.
Coolant on these is easy. The system burps well and if you measure what came out vs. what went in you should be good.
The rest (diff, brakes, etc.) are easier than most.
    You can do this!

It's totalling at about $1650...$450ish for trans, then everything else is $150-$250 each, as I recall. I'll give you the breakdown when I get it back. Killing me, but like I say, not well set up for it, too much to do, and the 'temperature has to be right, bypass the right pins, level surface, and if you mess up, you kill the trans' just made me say 'let them do it'...

I agree, might be easy with a good set up, but I am on gravel that isn't level and have limited skills. I don't feel comfortable doing them all and not messing something up. But damn! :bananadead:

You said it! I do my own oil in the driveway, because the slope doesn't matter, and I'm hoping I'll have my garage cleaned out enough to pull it in, so I'd have a level surface at 150k for trans, might be willing to try it, but the way my projects are stacked up...

We need a 'crying handing over the credit card' emoji.

If I'm lucky on a good day my display will show a 15.1 or 15.2. I don't recall ever seeing it any higher than that.

I got a new job and drive 70 miles round trip. I've been seeing 17.5

As soon as I do a lot of town driving and/or spirited driving, i'll see 15.X all day.

    Stock setup with 275/60/20 AT's.

I'm up to 14.7 mixed moving up from 12-13 mpg with addition of Borla exhaust. I think the 60lbs K02's is the only thing holding me back from 15 mpg.

Pulled her out of the garage to stretch some legs and check on the trail cam since the reservoir has been drawn down and hasn’t rained in a month.

I had both rear doors on a 2000 Grand Cherokee fail with less than 40k miles on it while our youngest son was in a baby seat. No way to open the doors when they fail, thankfully they failed a few months apart.

Had one fail in a Honda, but never in the Tundra I had for almost 10 years.

I installed my GM-style tow mirrors today. I previously had Toyota tow mirrors and hated them. I went back and forth between them and the stock mirrors 5 times before I finally sold them. I hated the look and couldn’t get used to the tiny convex mirror. These GM ones seem like they’ll work much better and I like the look of them. Similar to the Toyota tow mirrors, the running lights and turn signal indicators work even though my stock mirrors had neither. For $174 delivered versus the $415 I paid for Toyota ones 8 years ago, these can’t be beat.

I have searched a few different ways and not found a thread on it, so going to ask here.

Are there any threads on after market heated steering wheels, or even using maybe an OEM one? I found one on the website that sells the auto up/down window buttons and it looks nice. I have seen the threads on the regular leather replacements. This looks like the resolvo with heat added.

Do they have BSM or heat? I assume they are still remotely adjustable.

seems that way, my commute is 53 miles one way. Will see how it does on that trip because it will include the highway. This was just a little over 11 miles mostly all backroads without much stop and go. I’m also running all stock on the wheels/tires etc.

They are the RT in 35x12.50-17. They work well and the wear seems acceptable. They have gotten louder with age, but performance has been consistent. I’d definitely buy them again given how I use my truck, but if I were commuting I’d go with an AT style tire instead. I have Toyo MT on my first gen desert truck and they have held up to all the abuse I put that truck through.

The heat function still works and the big mirror is remotely adjustable. My truck doesn’t have BSM, but they claim these mirrors do have the function if your truck has it stock. Here is the link to the mirrors: https://www.ebay.com/itm/386568738689

Just remember the tow mirrors stick out further. I never folded my stock mirrors and figured I'd only occasionally fold my tow mirrors. I fold them a lot of the times I'm out and about and parking somewhere not my house or work.

I know not everyone folds their's when they park. But I do like being able to just fold them in if I feel like the cars parking on either side will be closer than I would like.
