Rear diff breather mod. Did not use The threaded bolt hole because it is too close to the dual exhaust line.IMG_1521.jpg IMG_1521.jpg IMG_1519.jpg

I have a Talon set, the same thing. Winter gets pretty creaky. I did the same as you but used pieces of an old dirt bike inner tube. I like your nylon washer idea better.

A few... Definitely more than 2
This should be what you are looking for. The video of the crewmax shows the replacement for a USB port. The other short video gives a good idea of the clip layout on the bench seat panel. The two panels seem to be fairly similar.

    Been waiting for an update.

I want a CO2 can for my RV. Id rather carry a small can that needs no power to air up tires before a tow.

Here's the rubber ones I put on today. They seem to do the trick so far.

Thanks. How long did it take?
Did you do one bolt at a time?
Did you only loosen, cut the washer and insert?
Did you place the washer against the frame?
Did you put a washer on the joint point bolt?

    Not sure at this point.
It’s a whole hell of a lot faster to air up with a tank than a compressor.

I have an eBay knock off of the TRD skid but it's basically the same thing. I removed it entirely and placed the rubber washers so they sandwich between the skid n frame..
    20240914_110012.jpg

I removed both my skids just to do an oil change and add the Fumoto Valve. Figured this was a good time to add the washers. It's pretty simple. Easier if you got someone helping you put it back on. Alone it took me I'd say maybe an hour for just the skid but I did a few other things in between. Removing and putting it back on.

Anybody here running the Jomax TSS bracket? If so, how's that working for you? Do you ever get any error codes at all?

I heard Zerex Asian is just as good. But I ended up buying a OE 50/50 jug for $29.

Old post I know. But which Dobinsons are on the 4Runner that ride like shit? Local 4x4 shop to me uses their stuff like it’s the best in the universe.

I went with the heavy duty coils to add bumpers and winch in the future. Without the extra weight they ride stiff. Once I add the swing out tire carrier, sliders, skid plates(installed), and front bumper with a winch, the ride will improve. I also just removed the sway bars and the ride has improved considerably.

Dobinsons is high quality suspension. You just have to choose the correct springs for your weight/application.

1700 mile road trip last week from VA thru WV to KY and back towing ~3500lbs. Went pretty smooth with the airbag helpers set 18psi and had the trans t-stat pinned open. SG3 helped in monitoring trans temps. Got pretty good at using the go-pedal to get the trans to drop to 4th and let the torque converter lock up to keep trans temps lower going up the long steep grades in southern WV and eastern KY.
