Thanks! Been using Matador powder coating cause I can walk there, but it’s stupid expensive.

Picking up the engine lifting hooks from a friend in 2 weeks to install the headers. Yes, shake down run.

I just ordered the RCI engine and transmission skid plates. Took advantage of their 20% off sale for Labor Day.

So the truck decided that it no longer needed blueteeth and the head unit was glitchy. Dropped it off at the dealer, they "fixed" it, pulled out of the service bay, they did not "fix" it, drove in. Turns out that my driver control module and microphone decided to pack it in. Gave me a 2023 Tundra as a loaner, and boy howdy was I glad that I went with a 2020. Wind noise, rattles, the seats are bad, I haven't seen turbo lag that bad in a vehicle since the lates 80s/early 90s and the tranny is just confused to what its purpose is at all times....oh, did I mention, this is on a vehicle with 11,000kms, about 7000 bald eagle measurements. Oh ya, and walking up to it today, boy howdy, its as attractive as a land mine wound. Cannot wait to get my truck back 2023tundra.jpg

Stock, with a few cosmetic mods.
Now that’s the thermostat only, right? Are you planning on the oem hard lines or just rubber? I’d love to do that project, but what a pita chasing down the individual parts, or worse yet going 1.2k for those ready-made kits.

This can’t be. I’ve read in the 3rd gen forums that it is decades, light years, eons (insert exorbitant amount of time here) more advanced than the 2nd gen dinosaur. That, and if there are reliability concerns you simply “boost on” and they will go away on their own.

Well, that boost will take 3 business days to arrive to take your problems away. I don't really see all those "improvements". Now, mind you this thing is in welfare spec SR5 with cloth seats and only the extended cab, but besides the really cool phone charger thing, I don't really see all these improvements.

I’m going to follow the one @snivilous just did for one of his clients. Just going to run rubber lines to the radiator and zip tie along the way.

Probably will go get a 1”x12 or 24 aluminum bar and cut it down to make a bracket to hold my Hayden 679 up front.

Let me cut out some cardboard and see how it’ll sit. Not sure of mounting points yet but I’ve seen some use the support bracket in the middle!

I’ll take you up on that offer!

It is an avatar of the regressive nature of our society. We, too, are our ancestors’ inferiors in many ways.

Received and installed the TRD Air Flow Accelerator. Very easy to do without any modifications.
Will confirm if there is any noticeable change this weekend.
