Thanks. We've had several different campers over the years and this is our favorite by far.

Hit a deer on the way into work this morning. Damn it!!! I’m going to see if a local paint-less dent removal guy can fix it before I take it to a body shop.

Put some Michelin Defender LTX MS2's on order. $1100 mounted, balanced and installed @ Costco - not too shabby. :)

Just ordered a NOCO Boost XL GB50 and carrying case from Amazon. Going to keep this in the truck for when the time comes.

Don't keep it in the truck full time with extreme heat.

? I've had mine in a black toolbox in my bed for the past 5 years w/o issue in Virginia heat. Just top off the charge every 6 months or so to keep the battery maintained.

I read that comment from you under another thread regarding these units. Would it not be safe in the carry case under the back seat? It would be out of any direct sunlight, but would be subject to heat from the AZ summers. What good are these units if you can’t keep them in the truck?

I have one for the Tundra and one for the wifes GX460, they live in the vehicles, it was close to 40C for weeks this summer, like 105 freedom units, and they are doing just fine.

The concern is battery swelling due to the heat. Some of the cheap units have leaked and caused car fires in the past. The Nocos are superior units. I'm going to reach out to them just to see what their input is. I'm curious as too see if there is some sort of fireproof storage for hot climates.

Took her in for oil change, tire rotation, and to get the brakes looked at. About to return from a 2 month almost 7k mile roadtrip so had to check everything out. Unfortunately I'll be needing new front brakes and rotors :censored:, but I'll knock those out when I get home.

Interesting, they've sat in our work trucks for years without issues. We might not get desert heat here in Minny, but get frequent 90s/100s in summer and up to -30/-40 in the winter. Have not had issues with the units being kept in these extremes other than topping off the battery every so often with a charge.

Keep an eye on the rotors. The EBC yellow pads like to eat rotors. Isn't that right @pvn.beluga lol

Should I run a different color? I can save the yellows for the second run on these rotors.

No doubt they work great and have great bite but I’d say a green would be better for wear. Or upping to a cryo treated rotor. Also the yellows have a ton of dust just as another fyi
