I just watched the videos on their site. Waiting to see your thoughts on it after installation and driving.

After watching those videos too, I think it’s valid that a cooler IAT will result in somewhat of an increase performance. Considering you’re in FL too George, might be worth a shot!

The install also looks simple! After taking my air box out yesterday, I noticed one of the threads that the Stillen box uses that was a bit rusted. Luckily I was able to use some PB Blaster and screw on the bolt for the air box to clear out the debris. Feeling pretty smooth now for the most part. May spray PB blaster while I’m doing the install to make sure the threads glide.

I'm thinking it might be as well. I was just out at the truck moving it and my IAT is 104 degrees and its been sitting for about 2 hours since I got to work.

Not today but last week. Wednesday installed 1" spacers to make my wheels/tires poke out a lil bit after the extended flare install and Thursday night took it to go see Deadpool & Wolverine at Becky's Drive in 1.5 hours from home. So worth it and we get to finally use our camping zero gravity chairs side by side vs when we tried with my 07 Ridgeline the bed wasnt wide enough. We can now sit side by side comfortable in the much better wider Tundra dc 6.5 bed. Also check out the swivel ladder gf loves it! No more using the tire step to get back in

At idle or low speed I’ve seen 140* IAT with the stock box. Anything above 30mph I’m 3-5* above ambient. $400 to maybe drop that to ambient and maybe pick up 1-2hp just ain’t worth it.

Finally found a source to run a full spool in the rear end. Will be ordering that soon. New 4.0x18s, king bumps and bedcage ordered. Hopefully here by the end of Sept depending on kings lead time.

very nice! everyone tells me 1" or any spacer is no bueno on truck. i had xj cherokee with jk wrangler wheels and that was with 2.5" spacers. yea they were fat ones so i was def ok with 1" on Tundra. my s2000 had 1.5" spacers with the widebody and 10.5" wheels but got rid of the wheels for 11" all around so no need for them anymore:militarypress:

I did the same switch of the gasket and it made a new horrible noise at all RPM lol

    Any issues on your end?

My screened one makes a slight noise at low RPM but I live with it

had to add the rough country shock for weight support so it goes down easy. also bolted most of it on the heavy duty panel in tailgate so its not all on the tailgate itself. no problems with how its holding up but gota go back one day to add the bolt/nuts on the missing holes as seen in pictures. lol

So after driving today for some groceries, the throttle response is definitely there. I was on tow/haul mode as well, but it wasn’t as zippy as before without the 2 mods.

It felt more controlled as I stepped on the gas going through uphill, turns, and on ramps.

So if anyone is justifying whether or not to do this, I’d definitely say do it.

Took advantage of some of the 25% off Toyota parts with free shipping and upgraded the A/C blower motor to 87103-60560 from the Land Cruiser.

Key differences being brushless motor, quieter, more linear in adjustment, and more powerful airflow.

Parts look slightly different - Land Cruiser on left, Tundra on right. Wiring plugs right up and mounting locations fit with no issues. Great plug-and-play solution.

Paid that SOB off 2 weeks ago. A final payment of 37k stings pretty bad. Some day in the future I'll be able to put gas in it again.
