    Added a few more improvements.
    I call them "character enhancements". 20240823_152218.jpg 20240823_152218.jpg 20240823_152303.jpg 20240823_152218.jpg 20240823_152357.jpg 20240823_152218.jpg 20240823_152254.jpg 20240823_152318.jpg 20240823_152357.jpg 20240823_152347.jpg

The crankcase can isn’t needed. Been running mine 4.5 years now and it’s still completely dry. The PCV can does it’s job well, but there is mixed feedback since their new design rolled out.

It's only been on the car for 3 days, cannot comment yet.
The engine was supercharged 3 years ago and the car is used for border patrol in Central Africa (DRC, Rwanda, Uganda). Was advised by the mechanics to install the oil catch cans due to local conditions.

Installed the Offroam air vent phone mount.

I was worried it wouldn't fit because the description says it won't work with aftermarket air vents, and I have the Meso blackout vent rings, but it fit perfectly. I think them saying it won't work means it won't work with the AJT vent rings that are a stick-on, because that adds too much height. The Meso ones don't add any height as they are just replacements, and it works fine.

It was braindead easy to install, and seems very stout. My only criticism is that they're made in China, and at this price point I wish they were made domestically.

    Would recommend.

Anybody running OBDLink MX+ or Veepeak with Toyota PID?

So I never got a chance to compare, but if someone does have these monitor systems that still have not yet modded their airbox by replacing the intake accelerator tube and removed the carbon filter, would you guys mind adding a MAF PID display and seeing how much lb/min of air is pulled in when opening up the throttle?

I have swapped out the intake accelerator to the bigger TRD one and removed the carbon filter in the intake box, was noticing that when fully opened throttle, I’m getting a reading of at least 30lb/min+.

I’m wondering if the carbon filter limits the amount of air that the MAF reads when throttle is fully opened.

Or so they say. The dents, not so much. Oh well. That's what I bought it for.

today i installed the LED fog lights that come factory on some of the tundras (bought them off FB marketplace 100 bucks) wrapped them in a amber/yellow vinyl and threw them on, very happy with the upgrade over my old halogen ones, yet it didnt click until i turned the lights on that the leds are technically blue or whatever so it ended up looking a little green... oh well i can take the wrap off someother day 4D0C8209-2DEF-4F21-A03F-94CA64410172_1_102_o.jpg 06986C6A-7CCB-4654-B736-A5FFD85F876F_1_102_o.jpg

Here I thought you were really old, based upon some of your past comments. It turns out that you're only a year older than me. We're just getting started, brother!

Finished ye olde leather steering wheel from Revesol install a while back. I ended up ordering surrounds from AJT because painting mine went so horribly in the humidity.

The trail. Probably had not had a vehicle down it for years. Lots of tight spaces with trees.
No big deal, I bought the truck to take it 4 wheeling. I think it looks good with a few scratches and dents. :)
