Replaced mine about 3 months ago. Wish I would have thought about the upgrade before I swapped for same one.

Paid that SOB off 2 weeks ago. A final payment of 37k stings pretty bad. Some day in the future I'll be able to put gas in it again.

I don't have a way to measure the airflow difference, but I was happy with the difference I felt. Sound was less, but definitely more airflow.

Nice. I'm betting that it would push more air to my rear AC in my double cab. Now if we can get faster window motors lol.

Changed the oil and got the windshield ceramic tinted. Need a longer ratchet extension with the RCI skid for the oil filter. Now I know.

When I take my dash apart for a double din head unit install, how much more work will it be to put in? Cost?

The work is not bad. The head unit and fan aren't really that close. They are 2 separate jobs. The fan will require some contorting to see the screws under the passenger foot well, but there are only three.

Both jobs are novice ability completable.

I love mine. according to my dash im up 2mpg from before and im driving it a lil harder/fun than before. the city on the pc was too touchy but i think the sport brings that touchiness up further not right at the beginning so ive been playing with -2 to -4 and im much happier with -2. the stillen was an easy install and i saw a few videos on install before i got into it but i dont hear it much because i have some flowmaster exhaust that hope to change out soon to somethin else or maybe my tips ill change cause they dont match rest of truck. hahhahahahahaha!

Ordered some replacement puddle lights from Vleds but didn't realize they're held in with tape.. So if anyone needs some just looking to make a little back what I spent.

That tape is pretty strong. I've had mine for about 5 years now. Do they not have the mounting type that the Platinum uses?

Yes but you don't go airborne in your truck.

@reywcms could you not just make a secondary retention feature?

I've had the VLEDS for about 4 years, and the tape is failing. Good choice to look for something else. Sorry if I'm messing up your sale.
