Here is what went in. This was before the kenwood head unit and dvd player.
amps, dvd player, and crossovers under the front seats, subs behind rear seats. nesides the head unit, you can’t tell it’s got a system, until you hear it :)

The reverse high output flood lights on the Boost mirrors was something I didn’t even know I wanted until I got them. Works great at night backing up with tinted windows.

6112’s at 2.5”, dirt king UCA’s, coach builder bumper shim, 5160’s and RAS in the rear. 295/70/18 AT4’s and SCS ray 10 gun black. It’s on a slight grade, the rear looks higher than it really is. Thanks Colton at hotshot off road for helping me get this set up!

What wheel bearings did you upgrade to? I thought OEM was just about as stout as it gets

LOL It is a truck. You can already keep all of your gear in it all of the time without a $2,000 system. I do.

When do you have them come on? I'm thinking of tapping into the cargo light switch, but I'm not sure what wires to tap into.

Recently installed Dasaita 13 HU, mainly for android auto but it defiantly makes the stock system sound better! Liked it so much, got one for the wife Rav4 as well.

Also, got some goodies from Hotshot Offroad! Just need to find the time to get things installed, but may wait until I decide if I am going to pull the trigger on JBA upper control arms or not...

Do you have trouble getting stuff from the top of the decked system? Maybe stuff from the part near the cab?

Used it to bring home a bigger quad for my 10 yr old.

Quick question, perhaps someone knows or can point in right direction. My tailgate still opens and closes but not like it use to all the way down. Previously it dropped fast to about half then slowly opened all the way like it should. Then not long ago it almost made it all way open, lately little more than half so getting worse. I can still push down to get open all way. Anybody know the fix, like remove struts and replace behind taillights, or is it something as simple as some tri Flo on the pivot point on bottom? I'm guessing it's not that easy, probably time consuming and expensive. Tia.

Likely needs strut replacement. Cleaning and lubing all moving parts is always a good idea and part of ongoing maintenance.

I'm leaning same conclusion, but wondering if someone has done it already. Is it relatively easy to get to them and replace? I'm hoping parts price is not crazy and its simple, like remove tails, pop out old and pop in new strut. Has anyone here had to do same? Knowing my luck, it's gotta be way more to it than that. Any help is appreciated. Feel free to pm so I don't jack thread.

Just to clarify, your tailgate goes all the way down? It is just the damping does not work like it used to?
If the tailgate is not coming all the way down that would be a more concerning problem.

That strut is the only thing keeping the tailgate from slamming wide open. It’s most likely the strut.

Lmao, wish I can do this too. Got my tackle bag usually with me which has a couple Plano edge boxes, scale, pliers, etc. Then the MH and XXH rods go in the back. Wish there was a better way though, but the rods only fit diagonally (7’ and 8’).

Unfortunately, I used the truck for the reasons that goaded me into replacing my Acura MDX Type S with a Tundra (youngest son was moving out, and I didn't have a truck to help him).

Son called me last night, he and his girlfriend split up and he wanted to know if I could help him move home.

    Dad to the rescue!

Been putting her on a Battery Tender every couple of days. Starts off at 14.5-14.6v then drops to 14.0v as I drive. Sometimes it sits around 14.2-14.3v.

I had to remove the strut to replace the hinge (the rubber bushing on the hinge cracked and is not replaceable). Anyway, it’s easy, you remove the tail light lens for access. Probably numerous YouTube videos on it as well.
