My rear brakes are disc not drum. Is it a similar process for disc brakes?

Yes, I know they're disc. But the inner hat of the rotor is a small drum brake, which is the parking brake. Here's a video I found on youtube, the first part is kinda useless, but starting around 6:00 minutes in is what I'm trying to explain.

Brought her back to the gas station, topped her off and then loaded her down. I load the food up in the AM and then head to our campsite for the week.... Looking forward to this already.

Changed out my cabin air filter, wouldn’t be surprised if it was the first time it’s been changed. Used my new Launch scanner to reset my alcohol levels (thanks to Helidave for the help). I did forget to check data to see where it was before resetting so a little disappointed that I didn’t do that. But I’m not too tech savvy so this being my first time using a scan tool in my life, I’m not too surprised I missed that step.

Hold up, what model launch do you have? If I could avoid a trip to bother my brother every time my fuel alcohol gets pissy, that’d be awesome!

Watched it go away on a hook. No crank, no start, no click from under-hood, nothing! Replaced battery in fob, nothing. Seems as if starter is not receiving start signal. Had a few warning messages come on while driving. Some brake assist bs., collision avoidance, and one other. Safety bs. IMG_9460.jpg

Bought truck in Nov. of ‘23. Got stuck first week I had it, battery ng, allegedly. Replaced at that time. Only 8 months old and tested fine before calling for road call. At the dealership they asked about my ScanGauge and Ditch lights, as if they are the problem. They are not the issue.

I'm not sure why I jumped off this forum, probably to save some money...
But I am back, and did a few things over the weekend to my '21 crewmax after getting ideas from here.
    Over the weekend I did:
    - Oil change (still 0W-20)
    - Auto light switch on Driver side, waiting for passenger to come in
    - quick interior detail
I have a tailgate light by xkglow coming today I plan on putting on later.
Over the past couple years I have done the power locking tailgate, peragon tonneau, ~30% ceramic tint everywhere but windshield, remote start, swing out wheel well bed storage box, center console charger, top console organizer, talons cat protection plats and a DIY ceramic coating every year. Next on the list is the LED interior lights/bed lights, chalk bag cup holder, diff breather, rear sway bar and new meats, in that order.
Anything in the low cost category to add?

Bummer. Are they saying the ditch lights are draining the battery? Keep us updated

    No "likes"!

Please keep us informed on the remedy. I have the same push button start on my '21 as well. Not yet used to not having a key.

Are your terminals corroded at all? The connectors where the leads connect to the battery terminals on my truck were packed with battery acid which caused a loss of current flow. Replaced the connections and everything is perfect.

All it takes is a few seconds with a multimeter to find out if there is a parasitic draw from any of your mods. Tell them to put up or shut up.

Did you have any trouble with the install on the rears?

I have the SDHQ abs guards, and the stock passenger rear stud for the wheel sensor is seized. Sprayed PB blaster and tried using the provided M6 nuts to remove the stud and they just get stripped, stud still stuck in place.

Anybody run into similar with a fix?

    Thanks.

It's not terribly expensive, I paid around $200 shipped for the parts, and got the U-type nut locally for 37 cents or so.

Anytime Front/Rear camera kit is under $200.

Meso Custom volume fix is $50.

VLEDs no RF cargo/High Output 3rd Brake light is under $100.

    Two options.

You can wait for a sale and then the dealer with the best price. eep in mind that they occasionally go out of stock, so you might have to wait.

Like myself and many others, you can also search salvage yards/websites for the parts. This will also take time but in my case, I got it for $50. Worth the wait for me.

Volume fix is definitely gonna be high on the list. I've accidentally skipped songs more than I can count. VLEDS on sale, may pick those up today!

I think salvage yards may be the answer for me. May check marketplace, I think I've seen a few pop up wrecked.

Stealerships are crafty and they'll use aftermarket add-ons as scapegoat reasons to get out of warranty claims (I know from experience).
