Put the RC 30” bumper light in today. The one photo shows it with the cover on. Getting to the bumper nuts was a pain in the a$$. The ratchet wrench was a big help. I didn’t wire it up yet. I’ll do that this weekend. IMG_6500.jpg IMG_6504.jpg

Put my new armor to work on some rocks at the local spot. Couldn’t be happier with how the truck performed.

Unclear to me at least, did you just put an Elocker in or did you also change gear ratio? In the end your question can only be answered by you

    None, yet
I like chrome wheels, not anywhere else on a car, or truck. Actually picking up chrome wheels for my truck today.

Mounted a flag in the bed. Everything I have read on US flag code tells me this setup is displaying the flag in a dignified manner. Opinions on the matter?

    Happy 4th!

Rear Eaton e-locker and 5.29 gears. I think I am going to stick with 35’s for now. Not really fretting just yet about an extra inch of clearance.

Far as I’m concerned, displaying the flag proudly in any manner is alright with me.

Look at that beauty, both flag and truck! I mount my flag in the same manner on the beach.

If you leave in the truck over night, it has to have a light.

It's disrespectable for the flag to be flying in the dark.

I agree, any display shows your respect, but there are guidelines.

Added a couple more Diode Dynamics SSC2 to the front bumper. Welded new tabs and cut out the panels. Connected the backlight to the DRL/turn signals. Turn signals function as they should. When the headlights turn on, the fogs activate and the backlights cut out with the projector shrouds.

Gave the truck a bath yesterday. Was going to finish installing the RCI Trans/Cat skid/guards but waiting until the OEM tailgate power lock arrives (today) before it got hot, and ended up washing the wife's Acura afterwards.

Going to need a long-handled brush or a taller step-ladder to wash the roof.

The passenger side gutter with the plastic/rubber piece in it looks like it had been removed and reinstalled, there was a fair amount of play in it and dirt in the channel.

Looks like the valley is going see triple digits the next two days... We're hitting low 70s out here on the coast, but that's warm for us.

Reference the rubber channel piece, those things have been known to go flying from the dryers in those automatic car washes. Previous owner may have loosened it unintentionally that way. Once they've come loose they don't seem to ever stay in permanently.

Yesterday we were forecast for triple digits through Tuesday. It got to 94 here, and was 61 when I woke up this morning, dropped to 58 and is starting to warm up. I know when the temps hit 80 by 10AM, it is going to be "Africa Hot", the kind like "Tarzan couldn't take this kind of hot..."
