Been trying to find a place to mount my gas cans and they end up beside my spare each time so I bought the mount kit for the spare. Works for me

I might have a set of 6 matching Thule cylinders somewhere, I can check and let you know. Unless you are already keyed alike.

I converted the 5.5' bed into a 7ish' bed. This is the start of a camper style bed that will allow my camper to be easily removable and still be able to use the truck for the shop. A tray that the camper attaches too will be added later. I need to add a box up to by the tire, angled tool boxes, front trim, and the tail lights. This bed ends up being pretty similar in length to the truck with the bumper and swingouts. The weight should be distributed much better with this setup as well.

Got camping accessory power to the tailgate today. Three SAE connects. Direct to battery. One will provide power to a wash pump, another to a LED strip in a shower awning, third is a spare. For the mounting block, I ripped a 2 x 4 to 2.25 inches and chopped it at 6 inches. Three 3/4 inch holes for the connectors. Wires are run through the factory hole meant for a lag bolt intended to secure a bed stake. It was a toss up to secure the block with self-tapping screws or bolts. I opted for two 1/4 - 20 carriage bolts. And yes, passenger taillight is removed, so I could nut the carriage bolts and connect and secure all the wires in the cavity behind it.20240329_144019.jpg

Had to replace the left tailgate hinge due to the bushing disintegrating. Sucks you can’t just buy the bushing. The piston is still good. I shot the new one with black paint before installing.

That looks really nice. Normally I hate flat beds on anything not a dually but that’s well done.

I agree, I haven't seen many tundra flat beds that have looked right. I'm trying my best to make this one perfect.

Picked up my canopy and some color matched mirrors this morning. Got home and got the mirrors on and started to get the roof rack on. Need to figure out exactly how long I need the bars and will be cutting them down some. Loving this truck

Master Yota did the Overland Torque Tune on my 2020 1794 and it woke up my low end in a really significant way. I went mild / moderate as that’s what he runs on his very similar tundra.
If you’re considering it and have $700 to burn (additional $100 for aftermarket intake, otherwise a $600 product) I’d recommend this tune.

Similar design by Chinese manufacturing for fraction of the cost. I needed something without windows and smart cap couldn't do that for me in time I was looking at. With our current laws I did not want to present an opportunity to paseers by for quick opportunity with glass doors on the cap

Mind if I ask how much you paid for the cap? I am planning on getting an ARE MX with the windoors, current quote (including windoors, headliner, front tilt down window and roof tracks) is a little over $4k
