    Does anyone elses truck have these led strips in the plastic below the headlights. When park lights are on, they are pretty bright, they dim down some, once the headlights are on.IMG_20170915_174640461.jpg

    If you need the hardware, I used a 1" ¼ x 20 all thread bolt, ¼" flat washer and a ¼ x 20 extruded speed nut that I found at Lowes. I would've used a metric equivalent, but couldn't find the extruded nut in a metric size. Worked great. By the way there is a DIY with instructions, part numbers/specs and pictures in the DIY section.

    I'm sure someone will chime in with the exact details, but it comes with certain packages and I've seen a link where they are sold as well. Most likely a Southeast Toyota thing.

    When you get bored I'm just a bit north of you in Charlotte and I'd love a similar detail! Truck looks fantastic! :thumbsup::rofl:

    What I did today matches my public service announcement for all u nutjobs like myself who tend to spend a ton of money on mods. I contacted my ins co the other day with proof of receipts to have all my mods added to my existing policy. If u crazy like me it might be worth it. Imo it is. For almost 10k in additional coverage to cover my cost of most mods to date it is only going to cost me an additional $120/yr. So for all u crazies like myself, u might want to consider doing the same.
    Oh yeah, while gathering receipts I came across a spidertrax sticker I didn't realize I had. So for all u guys that consider adding a sticker a mod here u go lol. Wow productive day 2 mods in 1 day.

    Hey Sean, u might want to check with them again. At 1st someone there told me same, just submit receipts and I was covered according to policy wording. When I requested to speak to someone there that specializes in this sort of thing they told me different and good thing I followed up on it. By adding those mods it would add $10/month to policy to truly be covered. If I didn't follow up I would've been shit out luck if something happened. I don't know if u had similar experience, if so u might want to follow up to be sure. Common sense told me they would not cover another $10k for free, I was right. Ask for someone who specializes in this, most reg service reps don't know and will tell u ur good when ur not without incurring additional cost in policy premium.

    Drove out to the pasture to exercise the 4wd system. Also tensioned line on new Warn winch today after installing DV8 front bumper. (Im surprised a lot of people dont do this)

    For those interested in weight specs.

    Winch - 57#'s
    DV8 bumper - 157#'s
    Factory bumper assembly - 62#'s

    Net gain with bumper and winch is 152#'s. Swapping to synthetic rope and hawse fairlead would save another 25#'s or so over the steel line and roller fairlead.

    Added door sill protectors today and led back up bulbs yesterday. 921 leds for overhead bed light came in mail but did not install.
