    Too many mods to come
Had a great turn out yesterday for some dune running. Got to beat up on some TRXs finally. I can confirm that the Tundra is faster on a roll from 40-1ZX mph (disclosed Mexico paved freeway of course) than a TRX with intake and exhaust.Multiple run validated but not faster than one with a pulley that makes 630whp. In the dirt over any whoops etc not even close. Future built motor plan should take care of those pesky modded raptor Rs and TRXs.

About to take my 2021 Tundra for 60,000 service Saturday and here is the dealer recommended services. The maintenance guide only recommends inspect and adjust all fluid levels, replace cabin and engine air filter, replace engine oil and oil filter, re-torque propeller shaft bolt, and rotate tires. There is a section "Additional Maintenance Items for Special Operating Conditions", says if driving on dirt or dusty roads to replace transfer case oil (4WD), and if driving while towing to replace transmission fluid, replace front diff oil (4WD), replace rear diff oil, replace transfer case oil (4WD). I rarely drive on dirt roads and haven't ever towed (you're probably wondering why I have a Tundra, haha). What should I go with for the 60,000 service at the dealership? Thank you!

    :eek2:

change the oil, air filter, cabin filter, and diff oil. Check the wear on the brake pads. Call it a day.

Ask them if your diff gets special fluid for being a limited slip - I’d love to hear their answer.

Do you perform any of your own maintenance? I ask because while things like the engine air filter & cabin filter, & wiper blades may need replacing they are dead easy to do and will cost a bunch less if you them yourself. Heck one of the chain auto-stores would probably do those things for you for free if you bought the parts there.

Not sure what they mean by engine oil flush but if you've been keeping up on oil changes I can't imagine that's needed. I'd want details on the complete fuel service. Might consist of pouring a bottle of BG fuel system cleaner into the tank, lol.

Replacing all fluids isn't a terrible bad idea. If it were me I might wait another year on the coolant.

    Yes - 75-90 gear oil - that’s the fluid. (Technically 75-85 but that’s just Toyota making $).

Changing the wipers and cabin filter is more difficult than draining and filling the diffs assuming you can crawl on the ground and turn a wrench.

Bought a 4x6 stall mat to use as a bed mat after seeing some suggest it. Used the extra ~6” I cutoff to fill in the sides up to the wheel wells. Not bad for $50 and 15-20 minutes of labor compared to OEM/aftermarket ones that are 2-3x the cost.IMG_5425.jpg

    Lots.
Cleaned Rotundra up a bit and aired out my RTT in anticipation for camping at the Southeast Adventure Vehicle Expo this weekend (Mar. 1-3, 2024) in Starke, FL. https://thesaveexpo.com/

Should be a fun weekend if the weather cooperates and the rain holds out. The “obstacle” course and offroad trail usually see a lot of Toyotas (and Jeeps) playing around all weekend long.
