If it wasn’t for the crap mileage, these trucks would be perfect.

Used to own a personal training studio where we lined the whole gym floor with these... Can confirm!! Work great and will hold up to anything you throw at it!

May I ask what your mpg was?

    I don't think my 9.5 mpg is bad at all . I don't get much north of 65 mph.PXL_20221201_202446861.jpg

I don't remember what tire size you're running, but if you're in the 34-35" range re-gearing to 5.29s will significantly help the drop in mileage while towing ... Watch for the group buy that @kyle11863 posts up periodically; great pricing w/a shop that does a bunch out of CA!

I just think of the fuel costs as dealer repellent. :notsure:

Just went to a 295/70/18. Is 5.29s the popular choice for gears? I definitely feel a difference, I’m not currently towing but I’d like to regear at some point

It varied from low to mid 9's which is what I expected. I don't have exact numbers, but truck was about 6800lbs, trailer was about 5000lbs. Running 285/75/17 with SABM and Banks PM set to S2. Kept the speedo around 70mph most of the trip...up to 75+ in a few sections.

Tons of discussion about towing capacity vs. Gvwr and payload here.

    https://www.tundras.com/forums/towing-hauling.53/

I don't know your numbers, but I have yet to see anyone use a 5th wheel on a Tundra and be within their trucks safety specifications.

When I went from 285/70's to 295/70's, mine was gear hunting and I could feel it. It went away once I installed the speedometer calibrator.

Been putting this off for long enough. Pull rear seats, strip katskins, install heaters, reinstall katskins, reinstall seats, run wire, flip switch. Done and done. 20240225_074555.jpg

Oh that’s interesting, so it actually corrects the ecu for the new tire size. I was thinking you meant something like a pedal commander.

Yep. Kids these days have no idea how good they have it.
I have an adult back there on a regulat basis. Sometimes it's my 73 y/o dad. After a long day fishimg or a cold morning heading out I'm sure he will appreciate it too

I think we were on Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge property, accessed from Cow Creek Rd. We kicked dust a few miles in, parked, and went for a hike across open land occasionally bounded by barbed wire, live oak and cedar juniper. Dogs had a blast flushing jack rabbits. Then, when we decided to return to the truck, we couldn't find it.:annoyed: No cell service = no maps/satellite views. Then one more circle around one more stand of trees and cactus, and there she was :yay:

I just installed mine yesterday. I have been using one in my RAV4 for a while now. Great quality but a little pricey. I didn’t mind the price considering the detail that goes it them.

Them are not a one size fits many vehicles product…

Finally got the Victory 4x4 center console mount and RG mud flaps powder coated and installed, along with a Expedition Essentials phone mount!! It took some trimming and a DIY aluminum bracket to get the 2 center consoles to play nicely with each other but it turned out great. Solid as a rock.

One of the people on a tundra Facebook group put me onto a dealer discount for parts. I figured I'd check it out. Ended up sticking up on oil filters & for what was left that I needed for my TC & F&R dif fluid changes this spring. Great discount! Check it out! Not sure how much time is left for the discount and free shippingScreenshot_20240225-201510.png
