They sell for a decent amount used but I was happy with them and didn’t want to hassle with selling these just to buy another set of rigids. This could probably be cleaned up by flipping the socket head the other way if you could attach it to the light with jb weld or similar product. Siince mine will be hidden I’m happy with this.

I have kind of a newbie question. I like to drive in 4x4 in the rain and I have noticed some significant binding when reversing into my parking spot at work. This is normal right? My buddy told me it is but I just wanted to double check. It still goes, I just have to give it some extra gas to start moving.

It's normal to bind, but it's not normal to be in 4wd when doing any sharp turning forward or reverse on pavement, wet or dry.

You are binding up the drive train.

Best to flip it back to 2 wd in the future when you do this.

Forward looking camera, Stub Antenna, 3M clearshield. A few other non lifted items.
Just changed the oil and filter today. I have a valve on the oil drain and used an old Preen container to catch the oil, worked great. I stole the idea from a previous post of someone using a 5 gal bucket. The container I used was almost the same height and the corner made it easier when transferring it to my 5 gal oil container.

Just received mine and will be installing in a couple weeks. What winch did you go with? Do you have any pics of how you did your wiring?

    Thanks

Being in California I will need some way to have license plate with winch installed. Let me know how your design works out and if you will produce some extras. I am interested for sure.

For sure. Knowing what winch and fairlead you're going to use would help as well. I likely will need to make different height license plate brackets because of the variances.
I have the badlands setup but I am replacing my fairlead with the Groove fairlead from Yankum and going hookless.
It might sound like a lot but I do product design, development and fabrication for a living, so this is easy stuff for me.

Weird. I have an aftermarket AA head unit (Pioneer), and can't recall a time it drops out there.

Went all in with Meso, black out kit, door handles, ac vents, map and dome lights. Also did VLEDs footwell lighting. Can’t believe I took the dash apart just to install some rings haha.

I have one of these sitting NIB in the garage waiting on the perfect bumper to install it... Read a few that had to cut the clutch handle to fit among other things... Interested to know how it fits.

that’s why I asked - it looks killer. I typically can’t stand fake carbon. I’d pay $$$ if someone made real replacements but the wrap looks so much better than the covers I’ve seen

Thats the winch I have. With the synthetic rope.

The Badlands Apex 12k fits in the Ironman4x4 Raid bumper without modification.

Replaced radiator cap, trying to avoid the piece that breaks off and it was 5 years old.

It started life as a Tundra. I think it is considered something else at this stage. Looks kinda like a tundra, doesn't sound or drive like one though

I went with the RC Pro Series 12000. It looked to me like there was plenty of room for most winches without moving the control box. Whoever designed this bumper put quite a bit of thought into it, everything fit well and lined right up. I don’t have any pics of my wiring, but it’s pretty basic. While the grill is off you have all kinds of room and access to run the wires right to the battery.

I ordered a Bilstein front and rear kit last week and was bummed when only the rear shocks showed up.
At least they're installed. Ordering my wheels and today 20240202_132949.jpg 20240202_133026.jpg
