Just a shite day all around. Big snow storm moving in tonight and I finally got a new spark plug and coil for the ATV so went to install them. Install was a PITA, and when done, still wouldn't start. Said to hell with it and loaded the ATV on a trailer to take it to a shop. During that process, I set a padlock on the rear bumper for the hitch and forgot about it when I lowered the tailgate. Nice dent...

    20231209_153954.jpg

Then, I noticed that my canopy was no longer flush with the bed...

    20231209_154250.jpg

That explains why my homemade pool noodle canopy/cab gasket was no longer sealing. So, loosened up the bolts, moved it forward to where it should be, and tightened it down. Now my gasket doesn't fit, so will have to start over with smaller diameter pool noodles.

Not really sure why anyone would do this, looks absolutely awful, so they are perfect imo..Yellow powder coated lug nuts. This is how I explained it to the wife, race trucks have yellow lug nuts, we should also.:notsure: Have the same wheels in black, gonna switch soon but that won’t help much.o_O

It’s just a coupler arm that typically goes over the ball. Added some friction tape to the claw part to further keep the vibration down. Bolts up to the same holes on the Rago mount

LOL! I added red vinyl to a spoke. Learned this on race cars to locate valve stems. Old lady said the same thing to me. Didn’t make it a month lol

Right on, I made a prototype out of pvc. Gave it a test rip around the block seems 100 times better. Gonna run it like that for a bit and if it is in fact good, I will make it out of something solid. I appreciate the idea. IMG_6216.jpg

Way superior to regular wipers. I won’t buy traditional frames anymore except for my classics and only for those because they get driven so little I’m not spending the money.

Hey Rey, silly question. I know you have a different air box. But do you think the Stillen intake shroud could be integrated into the Tundras stock air box? It's had to tell if it will interfere with the lid or the front mounting foot.

Negative, unfortunately it would hit the lid. I explored this with the magnuson airbox which is very similar to a stock unit.

New wheel day here! Finally got rid of the stocks.

Decided to drive over to my parents and take a matching photo to the one I originally took of the truck the day I got it. Not a ton has changed but I’d definitely say she is slowly looking better ;)

If I still lived in Arizona, I would definitely consider a roof tent. Scorpions, rattle snakes, and desert centipedes freak me out.

It was raining so drove the truck into work today. Drove 12 miles of the trip in 4 wheel drive. Decembers 4xdrive done. (see your owners manual:thumbsup:)

Stock, with a few cosmetic mods.
I need to do that but does just a wet road provide enough slip so as not to damage anything as if driving on dry pavement?

I drive mine in 4wd every time I leave my house, about 300' up my driveway. It's baserock and using 4wd helps to keep the surface smooth. Even before we moved out here I always tried to run in 4wd at least once a week for a little bit.
