Those are what we are calling two piece. There is the nut and then there is a thin metal cover that is pressed onto the nut that covers the end. Corrosion can happen between this cover and the nut itself. This swells the nut and makes it require a larger socket. This socket does not transfer torque to the nut but rather spins the cover stripping the nut.

I dunno if you’re up for a challenge but I’m looking for a super basic 3d printed disc that will hold a stock Apple MagSafe charge. I need it about 2 inches thick and I’m mounting it a little below where you see the scosche magnet in this pic. The reason for the depth is so the charger sits a little in front of my screen so the phone will grab the mount and not bump the screen. I’m using this now but I don’t like the hinge and how it’s a 2 pice it’s not solid

Side note, I have that same head unit. How did you make the background a solid picture like that? Mine cycles through photos I have on my phone.

With the KENWOOD app you upload one photo for the back ground. Then on the screen that would cycle through different photos you tap on it and it will open up the single photo and make it full screen. When you turn the unit off then back on it goes back to the default screen and you have to tap it to make if full screen everyone you fire it up or change screens which is kinda a bummer but only takes a sec.

I kind of like that design better than AJT's. How does it size up the OEM FOB?

Narrower but a bit thicker in the middle (due to the key) and cooler looking. That’s about it. Factory fob doesn’t really have any wasted space so it’s not like this is a huge difference. But for $30, I like it.

Drove down (Monday) and back (today) from the Quantico area to Chesapeake, VA for a management seminar. Got 17.4MPG down and 17.1MPG on the way back. Amazing as I do mostly suburb driving at 12mpg; I've never had that kind of mileage, must have been downhill both ways. ;) Snapped a picture of the best reading, which was about 30 miles into the return trip.

Installed a bed step from ebay. Might tweak the bolts and see if I can straighten it out when closed, but overall not too difficult and I'm happy with the results. First time using an angle grinder to trim the stock bumper bracket, after I sufficiently scared myself watching videos on youtube of all the things that can go wrong with them!

The best I have ever been able to get on my Tundra is 17.1 mpg and that was when I was doing a constant 70 mph. Seems 70 mph is the sweet spot for mileage.

I test drove three 2021 Tundras (all crew cabs) before buying the TRD Sport. One was a red Off-Road model and the other was a standard voodoo blue. One of the key factors I bought the MGM Sport was it had front and rear sway bars and handled MUCH better than the other 2 Tundras. Have you driven the truck with the new sway bar and noticed a difference?

Installing the DD SS3 fogs is turning out to be quite the headache. The nuts are too small for the area in the fog frame, they just rotate. I had to use a screwdriver as a wedge to hold the locking nut tight and in course, snapped one of the bolts. They do not look to be the best quality. Also the 1" bolts are just way too short. Back to lowes for some stainless hardware upgrades. Now I need spacers. If anyone can 3D print me some that fit the mounting bracket footprint, I will pay. I do not want to use the plastic washers (not enough surface area)

Anyone on the forum want to print some 1/4" and 1/8" spacers that match this footprint? I will pay.

Below 60 is the sweet spot for max mileage. Everything over the MPGs fall off. At 65mph or so I can get 18mpg. At 58-60mph almost 19. Driving with traffic north of 70mph yields about 15.8-16.4mpg. Big brick.

I recently managed to get 20mpg+ driving 4hrs on the highway to Dallas, but I drove like a snail. Never let RPM get above 2000, stayed 60-65 mph, acceleration of molasses. It wasn't the most fun way to drive, more of an experiment to test the MPG limits. It's way more fun to hit the pedal and let that 5.7 roar :D

Recent trip from Vegas I was seeing 15mpg. This was including 80+ then passing blasts over 1XX. Not bad for dirty sevens and boost

Speakers, amp, subs, floorboard lights...and the little step thing under the bumper
Tailgate latch wouldn't unlock from the remote, but key would work. Thanks to the site, found it wasn't necessarily solenoid failing. Took off the access, cleaned the mechanism with degreaser, rag, and toothpicks, fresh generous spritzing of white lithium, good as new!

Did see some flex one side of the bracket for the handle 'axle', so worried that may be a weak point...I'll keep an eye out.
