Place is a rip off IMO. Ridiculous prices! Crazy what people will pay for convenience. I’m in the process of building a platform myself. Looking to get it all done for less than $250. In this case it is worth the inconvenience to diy, again IMO.

The driver's side plugs are easy. The passenger side plugs by the firewall are easy once you move the interference in front of the plugs. That's a simple task that only required the removal of some mounting bolts and pulling the wires out of the way. I think I looked it up on YouTube University and found a guy that showed where the interference was and how to get around it. Replace the coil to plug boots while you're in there. Don't be afraid or intimidated by this one. You got this!

Thanks for posting. Wow, that's impressive. Been trying to decide between the Pro and the Max (i.e., whether the extra coin for the Max is well spent).

My process so far on these wheels, I need advice on how to proceed with painting the "ring" black. Masking off and spraying would be the best bet, but has anybody attempted hand paint?
So far, I'm two weeks in and I'll give the paint job a 8/10. A few paint heavy spots but I think it'll hold, would like to add the black ring next and then find some new tires (285/75r18)

Came up on 3 year mark and flushed the brake system with ATE Typ 200 using Speedibleed https://www.speedibleed.com/. Speedibleed made bleeding an easy task. Brake fluid came out fairly clean and not dark at the calipers.

Great question. I didn't remove any white branding. Now you have me second guessing them. I'll check it out when I go out on lunch and report back.

Pulled the trigger on some @RCIoffroad aluminum skid plates after some bozo on Facebook tried to rip me off on a used transmission skid sale with missing hardware and bracket.

I believe their Black Friday Sale is on now if anyone is looking for a deal on some super beefy, well made skid plates.

I have so much stuff that’s been sitting around needing to be installed from last Black Friday . I moved a state over and my second son was born so lots has happened.

Here’s what I got done today: Royal tow hooks in red and Diode Dynamics hitch light with locking pin.IMG_2206.jpg IMG_2208.jpg IMG_2209.jpg IMG_2121.jpg

Ok, for those of you that run EBC pads, did you guys reuse the shims or used the piston shim that came with the EBC pads? My rear ended up being stupid corroded and I was trying to see if local store had it, but if I do need it, I’ll have to go to the dealership tomorrow.

    IMG_5541.jpg

Fronts are done with EBC yellow stuff and SDHQ SS lines.

Also, for those of you that ran SDHQ SS lines, is this the proper placement for the copper washers?

Happened to see the vendor in another thread just now. I couldn't get a configurator to give me the product without the molle option, so I'm not sure if it'll fit your needs, but thought I'd share.

Actually, found out that the factory shims aren’t supposed to be used and to use whatever shims that came on those pads…

I need to look at the center console and see if I can just get the rear window switch to pop into a hole I make in the console. I have not seen any single gang switch mount so I figured I better do something since I cannot roll my window down now. LOL

Finished installing all the rotors, pads, and lines. Break in was 60>10 about 8-9 times before trac off started beeping. Went away a couple minutes later.

The rotors look pretty even throughout.IMG_5564.jpg IMG_5565.jpg IMG_5566.jpgIMG_5567.jpg

My OE rotors were shot at about 30k, but the shuddering wasn’t too bad until recently. Seemed to have gotten my use out of my OE rotors and pads after 3 years of ownership.

    Rears were still good.

Also changed out engine air filter with WIX and cabin filter.

painted and installed my front shackles. Just got my Tundra back in August. Have been wanting to slowly and surely start doing subtle (at first) modifications to make it my own. Green is for our local team, Caddo Mills Foxes. I've gotten confirmation today that my motofab 3" front 2" rear leveling kit has shipped. CANT WAIT to get that installed, so I can go pick up my new tires. I love the ride, but I'm so ready to get rid of the highway treads and get into a solid A/T.

I like the little details, and dont currently have the budget for major overhauls. lol.

Looks good! Lot of little things you can do that really personalize your truck. I had painted my front tow hooks blue and I was really amazed oh how much I smiled walking out to the truck and just having that peaking out from the front. Yours will definitely be more visible but I expect you will enjoy them just as much.

Sprayed 2.5 gallons of fluid film in every crevice of the truck. Gotta save this baby from those mid Michigan winters! Got my setup dialed in perfectly. Wool wax gun, HF compressor and hose, all worked like a charm after some setting adjustments. Hearing the fluid film and shooting at 65 psi was perfect on this chilly evening.

    PXL_20231108_233552953.jpg

Then I installed my Taco tunes cat shield. Much maligned on this site, but without any evidence that I could find that the plate does not work, I saved the $300 over the next aluminum option with similar specs. Install was a breeze, I like the security bolts. They're a PITA, which is a good thing! Lol

    PXL_20231109_053627379.jpg

Last thing of the night was installing my aluminum predator side steps. Love these! Don't mind the dirty truck and garage. Def need a wash down for both after spraying the fluid film

Next up, driver side grab handle

@Henry1jg very nicely done. A local guy has the same shield, used for sale, that I maybe able to get quite a bit cheaper, with security hardware. On fence though as you said not a popular choice with the group. Why is that do you suppose? Finally, my truck has the OEM TRD front skid plate, do you know if that Taco shield will work? Steps look great btw.
