Funny, I’ve got lots of family members that insist pipelines are horrible. I ask them to carry water to their house in buckets instead of piping it in. They scratch their heads and can’t figure out the comparison.
Pipeline bad, oil in trucks and rail (using oil to transport oil no less) good.

Voltage Booster Pro Test for all you guys who run AGM batteries out there. I'm running a Northstar 27F X2 Power! Saw someone post about this Voltage Booster Pro and thought I'd give it a try. I have been running the GM fuse for about a year now and every now and again my voltage will drop down between 13.8-13.9, that's the lowest I've see it go. One thing I do like about this Voltage Booster Pro is that it is still fused with the 5 amp fuse unlike the GM fuse so something does go wrong that fuse will pop!

    GM Fuse cold start: 14.41v
Voltage Pro cold start low setting: 14.53v
Voltage Pro cold start high setting: 15.00v

probably a few guys in there that are looking to get rid of a stock non-JBL head unit (assuming his truck isn't JBL). If he goes to a 2020/2021 unit, with a little work and some adapter harnesses he would get CarPlay/Android Auto out of the mix.

So there's no swapping thread on that? I didn't get a close enough look to see if he was JBL or not JBL. I did grab a photo though.

    Looks like this model: https://phoenixautomotiveinc.com/collections/tundra

This thread should have info how to install which would give you an idea of what will be needed to uninstall/switch to a different. You might be able to watch the for sale threads with all the head unit's being installed.

You can put a 20/21 radio in his. You just need the harness from Autoharness. It is pricey though. If his is JBL, I believe he would have a JBL emblem on his door panels near the speakers.

Thanks @bobbilly @RainMan_PNW and @Tundra234 for the info, super helpful, much appreciated. I figured someone could steer me in the right direction.

    I think I need to buy myself a 2.5 gen someday :)

I assume this is the harness you're talking about, for an etune 3.0 in an vehicle that came with 2.0?

Finally got around to the rear window switch relocation. Blanks will be seat heater switches eventually.

SEM Black trim ultra matches well, but is soft so be careful if you go that route. Took 3 tries to get a finish I was happy with, then I went and dinged it.

    :censored:

I'm gonna try to touch it up. I really don't want to wet sand it again.

Mine is arriving tomorrow! Still can’t understand why some engineer designed the factory switch that way. Glad to finally get it corrected!

The OE configuration (to me) was all jacked up; it wasn't natural. Up should mean volume up and down should mean volume down. I don't know how many times in my '21 Pro and my '19 4Runner I pushed up thinking 'volume' up; but instead would jump to the next track, etc. on my playlist :frusty:... in contrast, when I wanted to skip to the next track, I'd push right button and it would bump volume up by a click :smash:

I know probably shouldn't be a huge deal, but it's been a huge peeve of mine
