Tested them out this evening, no adjustments yet.

The glare is very manageable for me, even with a decent layer of dust on the hood (which is the absolute worst for glare).

Replaced the Predator step bars with Ionic 5” oval step bars. More clearance, more foot purchase in and out, more clean looking (to me).
Also removed dealer sticker from tailgate.
Repaired the apparently common faulty adhesive that holds the drivers door corner window trim. Used Gorilla double sided tape for that.

Not really today - more like 2 weeks ago, but the following day I ended up in the hospital for 11 days.

Rago dash plate with Bulletpoint MagSafe charger. Since I only have wired CarPlay, and since the Bulletpoint charger requires at least a QC2.0 quick charge USB port, I didn't use the USB port from Rago but instead ran the cables for the charger and CarPlay up through the center hole. I'll have to look for a grommet to put in that hole.

And now that I look at the pictures I realize that I forgot to flip the charger over to prevent strain on the cable. It was originally mounted towards the passenger side and I just forgot to rotate it when I moved it to the side closer to the driver.

And not pictured, I added a Natika front camera the same day.

I had an 87 4Runner. Great truck and the 22R motors were indestructible and easy to work on. Taking the roof off was a pain. Only did it twice.

Almost finished. Ran out of time, so it looks like I'll be disassembling the dash again, next weekend XD.

1 knob and trim ring to go, dammit, LOL.

Still have 9 pieces of trim overlay to install, but not til after dashboard assembly games are done - I put the AC vent ring covers on before the center overlay pieces and have some work to do now to make sure everything fits (ATM, it doesn't).

I finally installed the @Chelly two-port rear console panel. I've had it a year and installed it today. Minor sanding, a couple of coats of primer, and a few coats of SEM trim black. Nice to have 12 volt, USB-A, and USB-C back there.

Nice. Is there a link for that panel or do I just send a PM? Do you have a link for the USB port? Thanks.

Not the sexiest, but definitely one of my favorite additions to any truck I've built...

This @sPOD BantamX HD system makes wiring, powering and controlling accessories absolutely delightful!

The initial install of the system isn't all that bad either. Basically, mount everything using the provided drilling templates and connect it to your positive battery terminal and a chassis ground. The hardest part was literally routing the wires, which is easy once you stop overthinking and actually start doing it LOL.

Mounted in the most obvious location for now, works great and easy to access. The default blue backlight matches the factory lighting perfectly. Super solid feel and button feedback. Now I have to find 6 other accessories to power, this could turn into a really pricey mod...

Again, mounted to the most straightforward location. All necessary hardware is included.

Once the system is installed, it's really easy to add accessories. Ditch whatever clusterfuck of a wiring harness came with your powered accessory. Grab a couple connectors and crimp them onto your hot and ground wires. Heatshrink the ends and connect them to this power distribution unit. Each circuit is numbered and labeled so you know exactly which button will control it from inside the vehicle. A bunch of crimp connectors and heatshrink tubing is already included too.

This mod will pay for itself over and over, every time I add another powered accessory. No more dreaded wiring after spending hours installing a new part or creating a rat's nest of messy wires in the engine bay. Well worth it.

My old boss has an 87. He won't let it go. He's been looking for a frame repair shop. Any chance you know of one?

Or maybe other members do? Not sure how many miles he has, but when rust hits before the engine gives you know you have a solid build.

Those look like semi modern Dodge RAM wheels.
Always thought they would look good on a tundra.
