Should I just bite the bullet and get the 5160s now, then?

I would if it's in your budget. November is the expected date but you know how that goes....it can always change.

Just for reference I am exceeding payload with my 4700lb dry, 6k loaded, Jayco 264BH by 6-700lbs. I would guess a 9000lb trailer and all the passengers is exceeding the trucks payload capacity by 1200+ lbs. and exceeding the rating of the rear axle. The frame may even be sitting on the bump stops with that much weight.

Tundra's have some of the lowest payload capacities and is the limiting factor when towing.

Yeah, I am not a fan of their top plate... it's just a row of circles and adds no real aesthetics to the design. Although I understand the function of the design, I really dislike the look

If my reminders is off would the maintenance thing still show when it's due or almost due. 2018 tundra I turned the button to on even tho I have not set reminders. Does that matter ?

These caliper bracket bolts appear to be unobtanium. Dealer can have some in a day or two but SOL otherwise. Also they're apparently 14mm-1.5p if you're curious. I did manage to find a correctly sized tap at a local NAPA so I can clean up the threads in the caliper.

My neighbour pulls dents for a living and is going to take a look. Best place to pop it out is from behind the tail light and remove the plastic trim from the bed rail. He thinks it’ll come out.

got to replace the tail light assembly, anything better than stock out there? I’m not a fan of the Morimoto LED but wouldn’t mind looking at something interesting

Alpha Rex or the HiRev would be good options since you need a new assembly. I'm running HotTails and love them but that is just a bulb and wiring change.

Definitely wasn't on the bumpstops once. I have a dobinsons suspension with upgraded springs. I only had my wife and 2 corgis soft kennels and a bag because I knew I couldn't load the truck much due to payload. That trailer weight was 100lbs less than my towing capacity and my payload on my truck is 1500 or so with my configuration (limited dc 4x4 6.5) after tounge weight is considered and my cap I may have been close but shouldn't have been over. Most all our gear I made my daughter put in her car along with her and the other 3 people that went. Sure was a heavy bitch though

That splitter works very well with my SG3. Just don't forget to set the app to No OBD mode.

fixed… not even a scratch after I hit it for about 10 seconds with a buffer. On the body line that comes up at the rear of the fender flare there are two little imperfections. Neighbour worked that area for a long time but at the end of the day couldn’t get it perfect. Pretty damn close though. I’m pretty particular but even I was impressed with the before and after.

Can you see inside the square tube to see if they powder coated in there too? The open holes look like a future water intrusion and rot point.

I keep forgetting that yours is a 2016. Mine doesn't use the OBD adapter since it gets the info through the Maestro data cable.

Check out McMaster-Carr, they carry lots of sizes and you can usually have them next day with standard shipping depending on your location.

These PDR guys are artists. Sometimes there's nothing you can do when a crease is involved, but your neighbor did a fantastic job here.

@MattAK - use a thread chaser rather than a tap to clean up existing threads. M14-1.5 is a common size readily available.

I wanna say I have a data cable hooked up to my Maestro as well.... shouldn't need to use OBD. I'll check that theory when the Banks comes in
