Do the Radium cans have drains in them?
I'm finding that with all the shit stuff I have mounted around the battery, getting to the J&L can to unscrew it is a bit of a pain. SO I ended up going way too long without checking it...
    :anonymous:

I remember seeing somewhere that one of the brands of catch cans has a drain built into it. Otherwise I might be looking to drill and tap on into the J&L can, though mounting on the passenger side would be kind of nice to free up space.

For years I planned on doing that to my DC.
Then I sold it and bought the CM.

In my build thread I've got the numbers I ended up settling on to get my 295's reading right. It's not nearly the difference that the "book numbers" say it should be. I think Toyota calibrates these trucks for a larger tire than they actually put on them.

    So stock.
Just installed some Method 707s in 18x9", +25mm offset and Toyo AT3s in 285/70R18 in load E. Digging it so far and I kinda like the look on stock suspension. Just need to do some plastic manipulation.10.jpg 9.jpg 11.jpg

Managed to get my oil changed and switched to an AFe dry engine air filter.
Waiting on the 2 quarts of liquid gold Toyota Transfer Case oil to show up before I pull my skid plates and do the front and rear diff and transfer case fluids and all the rest of the stuff on my checklist for 60k miles.

Also rotated tires on two cars today, changed the oil on two cars today, and did a bunch of other maintenance.

Mine is dead nuts for the 285/70r17s that I put on. Not sure on what the tire actually measures but I do think that is the largest factory tire size they ever put on a Tundra.

Correct, you can add the radium engineering drain kit to their catch cans. I have their dual can setup, but no drain kit on mine.

Thanks. I found it....post #96 showing 32 and 33.5. I'll try those. With my current setting using the 255/70 and 295/70 (it adds the inches automatically), I am off 1 to 2 mph depending on which GPS (Waze and radar detector) I'm looking at. If I am on a straightaway and set the cruise, Waze and the radar detector match. Normal driving, the Waze is usually 1 mph behind the radar, but I contribute that being caused by the wireless android auto. I had to adjust the speed in my SG3 as well. Not to sidetrack, but the SG3 is weird anyway. It doesnt read the same thing that the dash shows....IE the tire pressures read different on it compared to what the dash display says. I'll have to email them to see what their thoughts are.

The radium’s do not but they do have a dipstick to check the level. Update no idea that you could add the drainage bolt. That’s cool

I have a drain barb and petcock with a rubber oil/fuel safe tube that came with my setup from Radium...I didn't hook it up as it's less of fa mess just checking and draining it when I remove it...

I'm kinda thinking that may be the truth. I have 60R20 Coopers, which they say are 33.7" in diameter, and at 40mph (according to the little radar 'Your Speed' devices I normally ignore) I'm less than 1 mile over. If I ever move to 35's I might get a calibrator; but I'm fine without for now.

BTW I put some additional info here with heights and weights of my setup that some one may find useful. It’s info I was looking for when I was debating my decision.

Took the 37s equipped tundra for a 300miles road trip and it did pretty well. 13-13.5mpg calculated. Not bad.

Yes! They worked great. I have the daystar cradle on the bottom so I'd guess that made a difference so they won't over stretch.

Shouldn't the speedo be calibrated to whatever's on the door jamb sticker? It stinks that we have to play with the numbers because the info on the sticker doesn't seem to jive.
