Would have been perfect if the leather were cut better from the factory. Stupid pieces at the top of the airbag area are way too short.

TracRac bed rack, Retrax bedcover, Anytime forward facing camera, Rago dash mounting plate, changed all lights to LED with 1200lumen reverse light, added LED above tag reverse light, rear bumper step, Go Rhino step sides, CCM Cat Security Shield, tool mounts on bed rails, added tie down pad eye on bed rails.
Sprayed skid plate and cat shield with Raptor bed coat today. It’s not cheap but it’s easy to work with.

I read on some of those challenges. The one that keeps me on the fence is the price tag. You did not cheap out on your choice, that is for sure! Everything I have read speaks to their improvements and adjustments based on the feedback from their customers. This is keeping them in the running for me while I am looking. Keep up the great work and posts!

Got the Bilstein B8 5100's in the rear. 6112's will go in up front later this summer, probably have a shop do those at the same time with new tires and alignment so it's all wrapped up before next winter.

Spent... no. Wasted. Wasted at least 45 minutes trying to remove that top 17mm nut. Then, just cut the damn shock an inch below the hardware, cut off the retaining washers, tapped it out the top with a hammer. 5 minutes. Other side took minutes instead of an hour.

Yeah, those are a pain. I cut through the base of the nut with a heavy carbide recip blade. For the front I used an angle grinder in the same spot.

I sincerely considered the expense of an acetylene cutter for a moment, but found the right approach to reach what I needed with my angle grinder. Big fan of quick & easy removal of parts headed to the recycle bin anyway.

This was my first time using it. It definitely was an easy system to uses.

Lots of rain and storms in Pa. recently, but there was a break for a decent part of the day. My wife said, "lets go look at the GX 460 and RX 350 and compare them".
Didn't have to tell me twice. She drove the GX first and loved it. Then she drove the RX and like it just as much. The MSRP was within $1000 (GX was more) But... then the salesman said, take $3k Off the price if you like the GX. Of coarse they tried low balling me on the trade (2017 Escape with 52,500 miles) and offered $15K, so I told them KBB shows upwards of $20K for trade in value. We all Know its a number game, so they are saying they will take $4264 off the MSRP and give me $16K on trade. Total finance cost would be $44772 (out the door) minus what ever I put down. We told them it would be contingent on if it fit in the Garage, so they handed us the keys and told us to take it home (about an 45 min away) and check it out. good news... it Fits without any issues, Bad news.... Looks like I'll have a payment again. Insurance is about $325 more a year for the Lexus which isn't too bad I thought. Funny thing is, I entered the VIN into KBB for the Lexus, and I can trade it in for more than I could buy it for or sell it private party for even more.
What's everyone's thoughts on the GX and the 4.6? (besides the MPG) Any known issues or problems? Does anyone have a contact at Lexus that can get the extended warranty cheaper like they can with Toyota?
The RX was nice, especially with the newer tech, but I don't care for the Turbo 2.4 compared to the 4.6 V8 and we felt like the interior was not as spacious.

Installed a new phone mount. Sick of the double sided sticky tape comin loose on the ol magnetic mount. This one is a lot sturdier and still lets me open and close the vent. I know many folks are partial to those spider arm lookin massive mounts on the dash but it just doesn't suit me.

I once got overly ambitious and did the Sequoia and Tundra back to back. Inside & out. Never again.

Yeah I usually do the Tundra and the 4Runner together but drying the Tundra sucks. That's a whole lot of real-estate. Lol

Remove steering wheel, I wrapped my steering wheel a few days ago. Started with steering wheel on vehicle after an hour I removed steering wheel and was so much easier even used a little ca glue at spots that are tucked under (near airbag especially) Im shocked anyone is able to wrap sew leather with the steering wheel installed

Yeah, @RobertD already noted that I did take the steering wheel off. The top tags were just stupidly short, so I had to use thread and pull them down enough to keep them tucked behind the airbag and back cover. If I hate it enough I'll deal with removing the thing and reinstalling a new one.

Well got around to putting the Morimoto X3B third brake light in last Saturday. Just in time to have it tested with the heavy rain we had the last few days. I think it looks good on the Tundras, especially the MGM. Not a fan of the huge red lens.

Finally added the mag mount for my phone and have it where I want it to be. Definitely the best part of the grab handle mod...
