I have an idea for the top of the boot so it looks like a cleaner fit. Now it is just folded under.

Not all do, but there are quite a few that do. Our coastal area have a lot just to save on maintenance.

Left mine in the hands of a shop for the first time. Now I anxiously await the price and hope things are done to my liking. :goingcrazy:

Exhaust repair, alignment, spare tire leak repair, check slight vibration, etc.

Added tie down rings to the bed rails. Three on the sides, and two behind the cab. Now I can get rid of those clunky Toyota ones.

Finally no more exhaust leak! And the bill was less than anticipated.

On another note, something didn't feel right. After trying to figure it out I eventually smelled brakes. I checked the rear wheels and they were hot. I had them adjust the parking brake as I'd adjusted it at every point and it still wasn't holding. Apparently he had to get it so tight it was actually slightly engaged. :notsure:

After the alignment I'm now getting a slight rub at full right lock on my skid plate. Time to trim.

As for the vibration, they're unsure. They thought maybe the tires, but it was there before the tires. I'm pretty sensitive to it and it may be nothing of concern. However, I'm going to check my carrier bearing. Could be a slight imbalance in the driveshaft too, but that's likely harder to diagnose. Could be a lot of things.

Finally pulled the trigger on one of these. I couldn’t see myself pay over $200 for what it is. Found it for for $70 and couldn’t be happier. Box feels solid, bracket is different from the swing case but all the bolt holes land on flat area of bed. For what I’ll use it for I’m happy with it. Only down side is you loose that tie down hook. I cut the bracket to be able to fit around the hook but the case doesn’t it clear it when closed. Oh well. Also I have drop in liner and had to do some trimming to make fit. Hopefully linex soon. Got quoted $650 out the door here local in chicago.

Took off the TRD decals, cause the edges had trapped dirt.

I finally switched out my halogen headlights with these new OE TRD style Bi-LED head lights (black). Blacked out my badges and got A/T tires. Any suggestions on my next upgrade? I’m thinking about deleting my chrome next.IMG_2906.jpg

Finally ordered a mount from Bulletpoint Designs for my Furrion RV monitor. Using a Tackform vent mount for it.

I'm just not committed to the number of devices I'd need to justify a Rago mount. Might someday be handy if I could mount my Talkabout T605 for road trips. Maybe.

Damn. I wish I had known this before buying a set online. Might have been able to save some coin, depending on your asking price.

Picked up a chip on the way to work that cracked on both sides. I'll have to go to Safelite to make sure they will change it even though insurance pays for it.
