I moved my son out of his apartment in Tuscaloosa (4 hours away). Had the Uhaul trailer and the back of my truck packed to the gills, and had his metal bookshelf strapped to the top of my Diamondback cover. I'm whooped.

Nice - but they don’t look that good on the lot. Way better than “new”

Yep, if they say they can't, I'd be like 'OK, not going to make you try!'...wind up with a nearsighted truck screaming 'Brake!' at every intersection...

I was that close to getting the Hewit Tech bypass in, and I broke a wire on one of the clips that was connected to the 2condary air pump….

Is there anybody here who can provide a bit o direction as to here I can get a new clip?
The wire pulled out of the connector itself.
    I’m hoping I don’t have to travel to a salvage yard in search I a replacement…

Happy Father’s Day to all the Dad’s on here.

Plus, what makes me scratch my head at this whole concept is the fact that almost every dealer is now selling new trucks w/aftermarket lifts... at least out in this area. One guy in our area bought a new truck from a local dealer, with a cheap spacer lift, wheels and larger tires; went to replace said tires at Costco, and Costco told him they could only put a tire on the truck that was within 5% overall diameter of doorjamb sticker, which was significantly smaller than what came on the truck 'new' from the dealer.

..it's all just a bunch of excuses to not do the work

I got my air lift bags in today. It wasn’t to bad putting them in. Driver side had a leak at the fitting on the bag end. I had to push the air line in the fitting further to get it to seal. And ran the air lines to my license plate. I’ll test it next weekend when I hook up the camper and go camping. Convenient location for the valve stems, but I'd be worried about having 'em ripped out by the first moron that tries to steal your plate...

So far I never had my plates stolen. I did have my valve stem caps stolen. So, someday the caps might be missing.

I had three mouse traps set under the hood. Only one was still set. I found the one that was set off. Nothing in it. I looked for the third trap around the engine. On my skids. On the ground. No trap. But in search of trap I seen the heat shield on the catalytic converter was separated on one side. I put a bolt/nut in the one hole. Bolt head was still in the other hole. Now it’s solid. And now I know where the noise came from sometimes when I started it up.4FA0D6E3-5262-48E8-862B-F6B0EE9A37F1.jpg

Color matched tow mirrors are the last piece and en route.

Debating on keeping the chrome bumper caps vs color matching vs blacking them out.

Sold the TPFI catalytic shield, and armored up. RCI LCA skids, engine and transmission skids with cat shields, differential skid, and 38-gallon fuel tank skid. Also rear shock mount skids from The Unnamable.

Some pics are after I took the rig into the woods for some playtime, broke in the engine skid proper:rofl:.

those bolt/air fittings are cool. Any info on that?

    also…
You may want to consider bending the brake line mount. It looks to be resting on the top of the leaf.

Mine was after the lift, I bent it slightly sideways and out and it’s not resting on anything.

Just an Ebay 600#carrier. It worked pretty good, I will use cam buckles in front next time ratchet straps are hard to control when loosening and I recommend 2 people. It weighs about 550.

Nice! How did the truck do with the bike on the back like that? Been toying the idea of putting my bike on the back like that for my yearly bike trip with some friends.
