What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

Didn't do anything to "my" Tundra today but a Co-worker liked my vent ring covers so a printed him a set

Cooper Discoverer Rugged Trek 35x12.5

some rubbing, so removed mud flaps and ordered bumper shims.

also ordered Wheelers super bumps and coachbuilder front bump stop extension

 

What size did you have before? Just curious on your mpgs with the 35's.

 

Just a quick HP boost. Installed the black TRD shift knob. I really like the look. Keeps the OEM+ look/function I’m going for. And it’s another one of those “why didn’t it just come this way in the first place” mods. *shakes fist at nothing in particular*

I tried once a while back when I had the console apart to install a new (to me) OEM Nav HU.
Didn’t have the patience to tape it off (started but the tape kept sliding) and knew with 100% certainty that I would have broken something trying to take off the tabs and separate that from the larger surround.

So there she sits, glossy as a toilet bowl

 

This is one of my favorite mods that I've forgotten about. The original shifter is so jarringly awful. I noticed the transmission was able to shift much quick after gettings its confidence back when I changed mine.

 

It really is terrible. It’s bad enough to want to change it obviously but you don’t realize how bad it actually is until you get something like this or the AJT kind (if that’s your thing) installed in its place.

 

Yeah, I went with the TRD like you did. It's perfect.

Got a Lomax Stance installed and a bed mat. Haven't put it through all of its paces yet, but it's very nice.

I've got a 'free for pickup' tonneau cover that this replaced if anyone is in northern Louisiana and wants it. 6.5' bed, setup for the bed rails.

 

Prepping for next weekend's Memorial Day smoke while my mind was elsewhere. What to use for a hood scoop template? Butcher paper! (Pun, most definitely, not intended.)

 

Not a $50 mod. More like a $500 mod if you keep the truck for 20 years and the price of plates don't change. Just saying.

not sure on new mpg just yet, still to new and gonna not drive on it until get the bumper shims.

need to drive a tank or two to tell on mpg, the mpg calculator has been off since I got the supercharger installed.

Rago dash mount, ICS backplate, and 67Designs carbon fiber arm, and phone holder was installed.

 

I finally completed the KnuKonceptz battery terminals. @Coupe battery hold down bar is on order. I personally think it cleaned up nicely!

 

Added roof rack storage and side boxes on my bed rack, probably add one more to the roof rack.

 

Last of the chrome is gone.

I installed a westcott designs pre-suspension lift 1.5”front and 1”rear to my Trd pro. My question is do I need to flip my rear sway bar axil bracket from the bottom of the axil to side since it’s 1” higher in the back plus the Trd pro level kit it already had? It doesn’t seem like it’s too much higher but not sure how it would react over rough terrain. Any advice is welcome. Thanks
