    Truck hit 30k miles...
    Changed the oil myself.
Had new OEM brakes put on and rotors re-surfaced. Brake flush done.
Front and rear diffs and transfer case also done.

Pulled the tow hooks off, pealed the plastidip off them and am now going to prime and paint them. Do y'all who've done this before recommend sanding the tow hooks or just go straight to primer?

I sanded mine to scuff it up before priming. Seems to be holding up very well.

My .02: Always sand. Never resurface. You'll probably be alright, but best to replace these days. Warped rotors are no fun.

I just used some sand paper. Held it in my hand, all you are trying to do is de-gloss the existing paint.

Shiii. I don't even bother cleaning the inside of the housing. I just remove it, dump the oil, inspect for debris, swap the element and o-ring, reinstall and then brake clean the outside. The way I see it is that little bit of oil isn't anything compared too what's left in the engine after draining.

I just scuffed mine up, nothing too crazy and went straight to the paint, no primer. I did the same in my last truck and they help up pretty well.

Added the driver side grab handle. Didn’t think to take the one out of my wrecked Tundra, thinking it would be an easy find. Wrong lol. Had to call lots of dealers before I could find one who had it in stock.

Also starting to get the interior de chromed. Got the steering wheel emblem cover on.

    Refreshed her ceramic coating.
And applied some decals. Adds +50whp.
She's currently in the shop for Harrop Stage 2 + other goodies.
Is it just me or does the ceramic make the cement almost look like a lunar rock in some angles?

Took a chance on an aftermarket TRD pro grill insert and TSS garnish from kokautoparts.com about 30mins of drive time and no issues yet. Only problem I had was the screws supplied for the letters were a little too short. Had some longer ones laying around that fit so no biggie to me.

    Alot of them
Just be cautious while testing it, especially with radar cruise. I have the older style Pro grille and I initially had the AJT relocation kit. I had issues about 45 miles after installing it. I had random clean sensor errors and the cruise would disconnect. I got lucky and ran across someone selling a Jomax....problem solved. The aftermarket garnishes for your style are hit and miss.

    Sorry for the late response.

1st off , Firestone called me and said, that tires and alignment all done, but my front right strut is leaking. SMH! Now looking to buy suspension.

So i put about 100 miles on them . rides very smooth and very quite.. Will update at 1000 miles

thank you so much! I actually had my ceramic coating done professionally by a local detailer.
have you heard of Glossit? They manufacture the EVO Pro ceramic coatings and have a detailing shop here in vegas.
He's a little pricey but but the quality of work they do is the best in the valley imo. I use their Ceramic detail spray every month or two to keep the coating refreshed.

Edit: i got the ceramic done professionally but the refreshing it is DIY. its just a detailing spray basically

Ordered an A.R.E. Fusion cover, Bedrug XLT, and N-Fab W2W Nerf Steps from RealTruck. Many thanks to @SantanaRealtruck ! Also, ordered a paint to match hood scoop from Amazon, and got a local paint shop lined up.

Unfortunately, I traumatized my right knee a few weeks ago, and it's not healing. Doctor told me yesterday not to kneel, at all, for the next three weeks, and until I see her in June for a follow-up visit. So, it may be a month or so before I get all installed.

When I used to do a dail6 commute and rack up miles, I’d just replace pads the first time and replace the rotors also the second time. All the shops I took to get the rotors turned did an ok job but not smooth enough. I read the shop manual for the surface requirements for the rotors….. for the ABS to work they really needed a grind surface not just a lathe turn. Any ways mu 2 cents.
