Excuse the mess, but here’s a couple quick pics. The 6112 at 1.9” pretty much levelled out the truck, but I wanted a little rake hence the shackles.

I can't remember, but you bought the truck around then, right? Have you changed the transfer case oil yet? That might improve the shifting.

Yeah, that'd be something to try. I'll add that to my list. Slowly getting these things done. And yes, I bought it in December.

    Not enough....
That is pretty good stuff. I have used their Hybrid ceramic wax and it's pretty decent, but I have found the Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic to be even better. Last year I didn't wash my truck for nearly 9 months. Sure it was dirty, but water still beaded on it, and when I did finally wash it it honestly didn't look like I even needed to reapply wax. It shed water even better; like I had just waxed it.

    https://tinyurl.com/3bbjw9y4

My G8 has a professional ceramic coating done and honestly, it's just not worth it anymore. These spray ceramic waxes are leaps and bounds better than wax from just a few years ago.

Meant to post this up yesterday but got busy. For anyone who wants the vendor's assurance on the Dongar adapter; I emailed them directly.

    ************************************
    ************************************
Thanks for the interest and my apologies for the compatibility confusion...We are in the middle of revamping our website to make compatible information a little more clear. The Toyota/Lexus Safety Sense (aka Toyota TSS) computer uses the exact same 12-pin connector also found on the back of mirror in the previous-gen Tundra and current-gen Tacoma:

100% of Toyota's sold today (except the Toyota GR86 which is a Subaru built product) have this safety computer. As such, we would get a ton of people plugging in this product to their safety computer, and not the rearview mirror. The mirror and the safety sense computer are on different circuits and our rearview mirror adapter can be used on the 12-pin Toyota mirror without interfering with the safety sense computer. Plugging the adapter into the computer will cause an error as the power wires are in different positions. Can you let me know if this makes sense?

    Thanks,

    Dongar Support

    Changed--

Front and rear diff fluids drained and filled with Amsoil severe gear 75w 90.

Transfer case drained and filled with the liquid gold 75F Toyota gear case oil.

Transmission all serviced with the drain/add/pump out via the cooler lines, all new fluid now.

Dealership wanted to do a flush on the transmission and use 75w 80 on the transfer case.

F this local dealer, wanted to put the wrong shit in my transfer case.

Money saved and I know it's right.

Ready for the next 100,000 miles.

20230419_150328 (002).jpg I have a 2015 Tundra SR5 with auto-dimming rearview mirror, compass, garage door opener and would like to install a front camera. I need to know if my truck is compatible with the Dongar connector for power to a front camera but I'm coming up short on whether mine will work or not. Below is a picture of the back of my rearview mirror. Can anyone tell me if a front camera will work, plug and play, with my rearview mirror? Is there a 12-pin plug underneath the cap below the attachment point on my mirror? If so, does it just pop off to expose the plug? Thanks!

    Enjoy that leather!

My leather's got some marks and creases from the previous owner and 290k km's, but is still in great shape. It's quality stuff.

Can't go wrong with them, they are a quality made wheel. When I had mine mounted on my tacoma only one wheel needed very minimal weights and the tire shop said they never seen that ever from any wheel manufacturer!

Here is the final look: Go Rhino Dominator Xtreme D6 Side Steps, Line-X in premium finish. After some adjustment, I was able to move the steps slightly closer to the frame. I don't like the gap, but will have to get use to it. Perfect for the kids getting in and out, and they like it.

Tundra comes with 4 mounting locations to hold the brackets. Go Rhino only provides 3 brackets for each side, don't know why. I purchased another set of the bracket kit, so now I have all 4 mounted onto the slider. Go Rhino probably figure 3 bracket will hold with no problem. If you're going to engineer and design the product, might as well provide and use all the mounting locations. Just my opinion.

I didn't bother to mount what was provided in the kit, so I went ahead and ordered it together so I can have the 4 bracket put in while I'm installing it. I think with 4 brackets it should provide more rigidity. Good idea on your part. Post some pics of your truck. Thanks.

Your user pic is white and your SN is quicksand...

Anyways, what's up with that tailgate? Is that some sort of protection or just your personal styling?
