    I like the look of those tires! Are they loud?

    We were at the south western corner of WI.

    Camping at wyalusing state park in WI. Went with the tacoma world guys on about 60 miles of the Wisconsin adventure trail. Part of which cuts over to the iowa side of the Mississippi. Its mostly gravel roads and some dirt. Could probably get through all of that area in an awd minivan. I never put it in 4wd. Still some good scenery. We started at Mt Hosmer and went south to Potosi.

    I was going to say that it looked like the Mississippi Valley. We don't have anything like that in the eastern part. Feels like converted swampland over here.

    Oh so jealous! I'd get a fifth tire for the fifth rim and put it in rotation. That's what I plan anyway. Having trouble justifying the price of five alloys, but I'd jump at that all day long.

    I used Meguiar's Hybrid Paint Coating Kit last week and it looks like it works pretty well. They claim it lasts a year. We shall see. My truck sits outside all year and I wanted to protect it as best I could. It has great reviews and my wife got a few kits at 75% off at our local Meijer.

    Ya i hear ya but no reason to rotate 5 in. Plus i wouldn't want to keep that nice wheel up under the truck even in the summer months......Going to get a steel wheel and a used 285/75/18 tire off eBay and have a full size spare under there!

    Reasons:
    -5 tires in rotation get longer life as opposed to a spare sitting there unused;
    -keeps the spare tire fresh;
    -tires only last so many years before they degrade and become unsafe;
    -further reduces uneven tire wear.

    Not trying to tell you what to do, but there definitely are reasons.

    Finished a RC 6” lift with N3 struts and shocks with 35”’s.

    I had it aligned. Having some humming noise and a rattle or rough starts until 30 mph. Itz quiet when at higher speeds, but when I take my foot off the gas it kind of grinds a bit.

    any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

    I read this a few times myself. I concluded that they are referring to plugging into the computer directly versus the mirror connector. So far no codes and my lane departure warning is working.

    Finished up my “headache”/chase rack. I moved my Diode SSC1 Pros on top, along with an NMO antenna mount to get rid of the hood mount I was using. This should improve visibility for the chase lights and get rid of the major shadowing I was getting with the antenna out front. Octothorpe-T2Sprep

    If they are tapered, the smaller side faces the front. Also, did you install a carrier bearing drop kit?

    Tundra put in the work yesterday. Pulled out was was to be my parts Tundra and towed it to it's new owner. It seems parts aren't interchangeable between 2005 and 2014. :notsure:

    Got it delivered, then switched to 4Lo for a section. Switched back to 4Hi and it was clunky switching out of 4Lo and the 4Hi kept flashing, but drove in high gearing. Tried to switch to 2WD, just kept flashing. Tried stopping and putting it in neutral...nothing. Tried reverse and would only grind. Eventually between turning it off to switch to park without hitting reverse where it would grind and switching to neutral and back and forth between 4Hi and 2WD I heard it disengage with a loud ping. My thought is that the actuator wasn't properly engaged. It has never engaged and disengaged quickly for the short time I've owned it.

    Sure they are. You just need the right sawzall blade and a big enough hammer.
