Ever think of adding PPF in the area of the 4 brackets? I did it on my wife's car for additional protection.

Good idea. I’ve had racks on other cars and never had a paint issue, so hopefully this one goes the same way with no issue.

That’s correct, no spacers, no rubbing, no trimming, just removed the little air flap in front of the front wheels when I had my last set of tires on

Finally got around to doing the diff/transfer case fluid change. Of course my oil change came up so did that this weekend too. Trying to get the TRD skid plate installed. The one I got was from a junk yard that they scanned the filter cover from. Does anyone know off hand if the oil access cover is the same thickness as the skid or is it thinner? I have 1/4” aluminum plate but can’t get it to seat down.

After a little over 30,000 miles the OEM Michelins were done.

Replaced them with Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I have less than 200 miles on them, but so far have been very happy with them. Only dirt I've been able to roll them over yet has been my driveway. I'm confident the will do well there too.

So far it has been great but it is my first dash cam so nothing to compare it to. I like that is is compact and it barely hangs below my rear view mirror. Since I have tint on my windshield I stuck it to the plastic housing to the front facing safety items.

Picked up a scoop of black mulch to do the beds this weekend & received about half of it on the roof of my car, so I ended up washing it as well. Wasn't originally gonna post this, but Lucy had too good of a candid not to share.

    lucy being the goose.jpg

edit: also, getting mulch out from between the cab and bed is a real pain

That would have been smart - I was halfway through washing when I realized, so I ended up climbing under and blasted it out with the hose.

This sounds like a use case for OBA though... lmao :spending:

Looking to add the same set up you have. Bilstein 6112/5160. I'm not running any front bumper/wench, but I'm a lil undecided between the #3 & #4 setting. How much front lift did the #3 1.9" setting give you? Based on your set up is bilstein's numbers (1.9") spot on?

Any chance you have some side profile pictures of your truck?

Any thoughts or input is much appreciated!

Still impressed with the Falken Wildpeaks. 46,000 miles on them, and they look like I can get 20 more. Rotate every 5k.

Kevin I worked in a dealership many moons ago. A good site is Edmunds, most vehicles fall into an average condition. This will give you probably a pretty accurate trade in and private sale value. Least it did when I worked there many years ago.

Your best bet is to call your financial institution and have them run the numbers for you. I guarantee the dealer will go by that number over anything KBB or Edmunds says. It's also a great way to beat them at their own game when buying used - you'll know exactly what to offer them and walk when they try to bend you over.

Installed corsa exhaust today and the sound is amazing. Mellow at idle and quite on the highway but when you step on it the v8 roar is awsome.
