The tabs for the slider should be as thick or a little thicker than the rivet head. Guessing the cat plate bracket won’t be affected.

You are right ....those few videos thats on youtube are a big lie or these people are deaf. Even if they are deaf they can still feel the vibration. I got the side dual exhaust FX cat back. The moderate sounding one out of the bunch.... It is not thay loud but the drone is just really bad almost any RPM. Only time theres no drone is when am off the gas. Now i have a Frankenstein mummie half borla half flowmaster heat wrap with j pipe bull horns and still drone. If i have to do it all over i would have my muffler shop just pipe after the exhaust and fab a dual side exhaust.

I have loved the results of duracoat on my tires.
I’m interested in seeing how you feel about this product down the road.

Exoforma and Dura coating is a tire coating that last longer than other tire shine products, no slinging, dry to touch, doesn’t attract dust/dirt, easier to clean, you can get a cleaning looking to wet glass look depending on how many coats you put….important note is that you clean your tires to like brand new status when you bought them.

I've got the jl stealthbox with some c1 650 jl components in the doors and a Sony mobile es 5 channel running it all. I also went the dsr 1 to keep my headunit for now. When I had the seats out I decided not to insulate the floor. The carpet seems to be sufficient for me for now. I do have some for the doors when I get to them this week.

I thought I was far enough away, then it was like slow motion I watched that battery come around and THWACK! I haven't been punched in the face (at least without headgear) in close to 30 years...

I don't need to remove any of the rivets. The bracket for the cat shield had a slotted hole to clear the rivet head in the original design - I'm now repurposing that hole to bolt through it and the slider bracket up into the frame. That, and even if it didn't have that slot, the rivet head is flush with the slider bracket plate or just a hair shorter.

Don't feel bad...you're not the only one. When I was in HS, I was honing out a cylinder wall. Someone distracted me and I went down too far and the stones hit the bearing journal. The stones stopped, but the drill didn't. The damn thing hit me in the forehead and knocked my ass out cold.

I put the Stage 7 Icon kit on hers with full aluminum armor under and white knuckle sliders. Method wheels and Nitto Ridge Grapplers. She has all kinds of interior mods for our outings

Those reamer bits are incredible. I swapped my LX’s front brakes for Tundra brakes, and I had to ream out the mounting holes on the LX’s spindles for the Tundra’s larger caliper bolts. I went through three carbide tipped bits from Home Depot to get through one mounting hole until I found the right size of reamer bit on Amazon. Left the LX on jack stands for two days while I waited for it to arrive.

I got through the next three holes in under 2 minutes. :headbang:

    Yes.
This exercise reminded me that I need to order a set of reamers.

Got Ginger out of storage and inspected, installed a new tailgate piston and midget-assist step, and put her to work. My cane was still in the backseat from my knee surgery in November. Was like ‘wtf is this.. oh..’ Time flies when youre in severe pain I guess.

Refinished and touched up the rearend today. Amazing how much of a beating things take off-roading. Ready for another season.

Oh no! That really sucks.... I just assumed your pain was post surgery and if you hadn't needed the cane in months, I figured you were in good shape.

Is there anything else they can do? I hope you get some pain relief and improvement with your knee.
