    Not sure at this point.
It was a pain in the ass, but it’s in. Evil Manufacturing 3rd brake light.

    Thanks @reywcms for the guidance!

The hardest part was scraping away all of the OEM gasket with no nails.

I’m about to take on the same project myself. My S2s just came in today. How is the output at night?

I found one in stock locally. The install was $300 (USD) and I didn't have anyone around to help with the install, so I went that route. In reading the instructions and looking at the cap now that I have it, I don't think it's a difficult job. You you just need someone, or a lift, to get it on the truck.
Next up is figuring out the interior. I need some sort of organizational structure for my tools and whatnot. Then lighting. I'd like to do some LED strip lighting in the roof and doors.

Just a tip. I had great luck in removing all the leftover bits, with a lil bit of heat from heat gun and “pink pearl” school eraser.

Finished up installing a new dashcam. Thinkware F200 Pro. It’s a nice upgrade from the Amazon speshul I’ve been running.

They’re sufficient for me since they’ll be chase/blind the tailgater lights, lol. But they are good!

For me, was a plastic trim tool and some goo-gone. Cleaned it up real good, then wiped down with isopropyl alcohol.

    Looks good. I love mine.

    Did you use nutserts?

I scraped my old gasket using Goo Gone/Goof Off (off-brand that I feel is much better) and a plastic razor.

Yup, they provided nutserts (10-24). Used a 19/64 drill bit to drill the holes after centering the mount to to shark fin.

Going to swap the Allen bolts with arp 12pts.

Blue and yellow are brake lights, black is ground, white is cargo.

Get yourself some 10mm magnet sockets, set of plastic trim tools, trim clips (you’re gonna lose some once you pop off the c-pillar panels), a magnet extendable pole, and a 6pk.

HAHAHA! In all honesty, it took me 6 hrs to install this. That’s not even including making my harness.

I don't remember how long I spent on it but it was at least a couple hours. I got real good at taking off the OEM style light housings so that part was nothing. Unsure if you did or not, but I also used RTV sealant around the bolt holes. I was sick of leaks!

The part number PK3B6-34JS0 will fit both a double cab standard (6.5 ft) bed as well as a crew max (5.5 ft bed). If you have a double cab long (8 ft) bed, PK3B6-34JL0 will fit.

Here's a good video of the tailgate kit install. I made a couple comments...

Yeah, I used black RTV on the rivnuts before I inserted them. Good healthy dose of it. Then I added RTV on the top and sides of the housing just to be sure that water isn’t going to get through…

Raptor lights look great. Personally I prefer the 1974 grill. I think I swapped out my honeycomb as soon as I got my truck lol

I used this. Couldn't get it to fit perfectly within one of the "honey combs" but it does the job.

Here's a story: Exactly a year ago, truck was rear ended while parked. Fair bit of body damage, but frame was 100%. Took the shop 3 months to source all the parts and complete repairs - all new components and panels, no bondo. They day before I was to pick it up, some scumbag broke into the locked compound where it was waiting and stole the driver's side cat. As many here know, no cats at all in the supply chain. Body shop rents me a Tahoe (their cost - $13,600) for nine months...

In September, asked Toyota whether we could install aftermarket cats. Nope, would 'void the warranty'. Late February: Toyota relents, says install aftermarket cats; we will install the OEM ones for free when they get in. Aftermarket cats were installed Feb. 28. Car runs fine, no codes; I even put on the cat covers that were sitting in the shop for a year. Got a call today saying the OEM cats are in, 10 days after installing the aftermarket one!

I've gotta say that I was treated VERY well by all parties. Most importantly, I'm driving my Tundra again, and boy is it nice!

Had LineX spray the roof today. Previous owner neglected it and I didn’t want to worry about it down the road, problem solved.
