I just drove about half hour to my destination. I have a apple 13 pro max. With the cadabe case. I really like this case. Charged no problem with my Apple Music playing.

Update on the oem charger I added today. My 13 pro max has a cadabe case on it. Drove about half hour with my Apple Music playing. Charging so far. I will see how it’s goes. Phone was at 80% and now at 92% with music playing. And that was about half hour drive. So I assume that’s pretty good charging.

Congrats! I have the latest Samsung. Charging starts for 5 seconds, then stops, then starts. All of it at the slowest charge rate. Charge starts and stops interrupting my music, or just plays the "ding" notification at every start and stop.

    :annoyed:

My Note20 wont fit in the arm rest cubby (definitely not with an otterbox) so putting a charger in there is pointless. Also, since Android auto is wired only, i just toss the phone in that mostly useless space in front of the shifter. It charges fine on a cable, but I'd love to go wiress.

    Got some recovery gear.

    20230209_130410.jpg
Came with a mounting kit, which I didn't expect.

Heading down to the coast later this month with some friends, and we hope to find ourselves miles away from the nearest other humans. Thought of getting Maxtrax, but the cost to benefit didn't really make sense to me. Snatch strap, recovery hitch, and soft shackles should arrive soon.

Maybe one of the DIY versions where you take a wireless charger and trim the under side of that tray and tape it up?

+1 on the diy charger. I did mine three years ago with a high output 3 coil charger that I disassembled and attached to the underside of the factory piece. Works great and even charges my wife’s iPhone 12 with a huge case on it.

    Alot of them
The vinyl that @AZBoatHauler mentioned will cover the front face of the letters, not the sides. They will still make it look good and leave just enough silver to make it pop. The other option is to remove them and paint them. They are held on by double sided tape and alignment pins. Some that have done it said that the end result didn't look as good as they hoped....more of a washed out look. I'm betting that you would be happy with the vinyl once you install it. I have to make minor size adjustments but I just cut mine last week.

Is that an aftermarket step for the bed? I like your wheel/tire combo. Had to go follow your build thread.

Pulled the sway bars in preparation for color matching the front and a respray for the rear. After a few speed runs, I’m on the fence for putting them back on…

If you're talking about removing them and driving on the highway, I would love your feedback on how it handles Geno. Lots of different opinions...seems the common negative is loss of handling, from specifically from removing the front, in high-maneuvering situations, like slamming on the brakes and turning at the same time.

I’m towing through the mountains later today for the first time since removing my FSB - I’ve never run a rear. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Thanks Adam, that would be awesome! Towing is definitely one of the other areas where people say removing the FSB can be "problematic."

Interested too, @Cthulhu just made me a little nervous. I do too much Los Angeles freeway driving to worry about my truck’s handling on the freeway. I don’t have stock shocks, so they do a lot of work, but I need peace of mind too.

Southbound on N. Padre out of CC; until we haven't seen people for at least a mile. Hopefully the fact that it's February and not high season will make the 'until we haven't seen people for at least a mile' possible. We're old guys, so we get a VRBO when we go 'glamping', so it's not a camping on the beach situation; and when we hit the beach will depend a little on how much whisky isn't left in the bottle from the night before; but it'll be the weekend of the 24th. If you're out there and see a big brown Shiny TuRD, flag us down.
